There were nothing regarding the hotel i would point out as speficially bad, but we were unlucky with the timing of our stay (April). Due to the use of flash fire in the agricultural industry, and the lack of winds in Luang Prabang, the weather was constantly smoggy.

We had an enjoyable 3-4 days at Kiridara. The clientel were friendly and service minded, the room was clean and of decent+ standard. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the city center, but the free of charge shuttle service Kiridara offers makes this very smooth.

• the free bicycles are beaten up and need to be changed (even if this means chargibg a small fee for them) • with such a large room a larger tv is required

Very limited TV channels and reception quality of picture extremely poor. The hotel is built on a hillside and rooms are on different level. To get to those at the top there are many steps. Choose a room near reception, pool and restaurant if you have difficulty with stairs.

Kiridara definitely ticks all the right boxes however it’s of Importance to note that the room facilities will need an upgrade to compete with competition.

The service at Kiridara was impeccable! We felt very welcomed by all throughout our stay. The property is wonderful. The room was spacious with a big comfy bed. Breakfast was a delight. The shuttle was very advantageous! Overall our stay was very comfortable and we would return.

The hotel offers free rentals to its guests. However, most of the bikes are in bad condition and would require maintenance. The gears did not work and the lights were missing. Also, we would have appreciated a little more friendliness from the Lao staff. The manager and the receptionist (both French expats I guess) were very friendly and helpful.

Very good and varied breakfast buffet, which could be supplemented with a la carte orders. Especially the passion fruit jam was delicious. The hotel is located just outside of Luang Prabang (20 minutes walk from the night market) and offers a great view of Phousi Hill and the city. We often used the hotel's free shuttle service to and from town or rode the hotel's bicycles the short distance. The room was very clean and well decorated. We often enjoyed the quiet pool area.

The hotel was beautiful and perched on a hill. Room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and assisted us with sorting out our train tickets. They have a reliable shuttle service into town. Good breakfast too. I spent Christmas there and it was very special.

Beds are soft and comfortable. Breakfasts are amazing. They have so many menu to choose from and all are very delectable. Though the location is a bit out of the center, they offer free shuttle. So very convenient. The reception is also very helpful, and can help you book every attraction, including train to outside city. Impressed.

Fantastic Hotel All the staff are friendly, and the environment is wonderful. I was lucky to be upgraded this time. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a balcony, a working desk(smoking area), and two loungers outside. There was turndown service, and throughout the stay, the staff consistently provided service beyond expectations. The breakfast was delicious, offering a choice between ordering from a menu (you can pick one dish from each of four categories), a buffet area, and ordering beverages separately. It was truly amazing, and the staff were thoughtful. There's a small gym on the top of the resort, and it’s more suitable for free weights workouts, although the weight options are a bit limited. But having a place to exercise is still great. The swimming pool is beautiful, and my room is right next to it. I saw many people swimming during the stay. The hotel also offers shuttle services, providing free rides to and from town (although it's not far if you prefer walking, about two kilometers). You can also book airport transfers for $15 per trip. If you want to visit nearby attractions, you can inquire whether the hotel provides transportation, and the costs may need to be confirmed with the hotel. Highly recommended for everyone. This hotel is truly fantastic. I loved everything about it and am grateful for the care provided by the staff during the stay.

The hotel itself is beautifully set on a mountain just outside the city centre. It has a gorgeous pool and such spacious rooms. Loved the separate toilet and shower. As I had a corner room I had a spectacular view of the city. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I fully enjoyed the breakfast every day as it had, besides a small buffet, many a la cart options which were freshly made. You don’t see that often so that was for me a big plus. As it’s not in the heart of the city it has a free shuttle that runs. We used it a lot or took a tuktuk back to the hotel. For me the bed was too soft but that’s very personal of course. One side note: if you are not good with using lots of stairs this might not be your hotel. But I’d recommend you to ask then for a room on a lower level. One last shout out to the wonderful treatment I had in the hotel spa. Would definitely recommend the Kiridara!

The location is a bit far from the centre, but there is shuttle and rental cycle.

The view from the property was fantastic and quiet. Breakfast was amazing!! Staff helped for booking train, hiring cat and rental motor bicycle. Very good service. Happy to recommend our family and friends.

Love everything about KIRIDARA . It was my first visit to Luang Prabang and the staffs of KIRIDARA from the receptionist , waiter in the restaurant, the housekeeping team- they were all warm , gentle and friendly. Making you feel safe and like home . I’ve also tried the spa service and the Laos massage was great too! Makes me feel recharged after the long journey from Singapore to Vientiane and Luang Prabang. Will definitely COME BACK again! Missing the fresh air and mountains .

The main issue is the considerable distance from the city, and it would be beneficial to have an added service for transportation to the BTS station, especially considering the relatively high cost of the existing service, which stands at 25 USD.

The location is nice, albeit distant from the city center. However, with a shuttle bus service available, exploring the town on foot is not a concern. The rooms are pleasant and clean, although the furnishings appear somewhat dated. The highlight is the Chef's Table restaurant, offering delectable dishes with a diverse selection of both Western and Laotian cuisines for breakfast. The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and provide top-notch service. We are certainly looking forward to returning there. The staff is extremely friendly, and the hotel boasts an exceptional restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and kept impeccably clean. While the hotel is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bustling city center, they provide a complimentary shuttle service. I highly recommend it!

The room was a great size with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the beautiful view beyond. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making things much easier for me travelling alone with a toddler. Massage at the spa was really good. Free shuttle bus into town.

Beautiful views from pool area and room, lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Simon the F&B manager was fabulous, very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful, al a carte + buffet options! The hotel offers free transfers to/from town centre between 6am and 9pm. Special thanks to Inphon, one of the drivers, he has been most helpful and kind during our visit.
