Too quiet as my stay was ultra low August season, not much open for food options

A few minor things that could be fixed at little cost could make a big difference. - The hammock is nearly unusable because it is coming apart. And it's facing the wrong way anyway. - The door in bathroom unit 33 does not close completely, allowing a significant amount of air conditioning to flow into the bathroom. This bathroom has air holes that cannot be sealed, resulting in the air conditioning being wasted. If the door were fixed, they could offset the difference in lower air conditioning costs. - Lastly, the restaurant is located in front of the units that overlook the water, so you don't have as much privacy as you would if the restaurant were not blocking your view. Since I visited during the rainy season, the restaurant was usually empty, so it didn't affect me.

The view of the river, which is just 5 meters away from you! Calm. Quiet. Romantic. 300 meters from the dock. I accidentally left my money belt, and they retrieved it and brought it to me! Amazing honesty and service!

We expected our bungalow to be on the riverside but the guesthouse is located both on the riverside and across the street. Not a big deal, and if I had read the description of the room more, I would have known!

We stayed in a lovely bungalow with private bathroom (with hot hot water!). We were able to check-in in the early morning because our room was already ready, which was awesome. Two water bottles are gifted when you arrive. There's a kettle in the room (and two cups) and a mosquito net for the bed (you'll need it!!). The staff is great and lovely; they also have a restaurant 2 minutes away by foot where they serve very good food and breakfast for decent prices. You can also book bicycles from them, and transportation (we booked our journey to Cambodia from them).

The bungalows are a bit old but clean and spacious. Staff are sometimes not at the office but they run a restaurant not far from the guesthouse and can be found there.

Cute bungalows on the river. Perfect for relaxing and watching the boats go by. Coffee and hot water on the communal patio at all times.

Great set of bungalows on the riverside with views across to Don Det and a decent sunset.. They also have garden bungalows that are nice too. Great location. Chill and sleepy.

A/C struggled to cool the room.

The AC was not very strong. I could not stay as I planned so the owner didn't make me pay for the nights I wished to cancel but I think I payed twice the taxes for the nights I stayed. The bathroom was dirty (toilet and sink).

I liked the room and the location. It's near the boats and the island is really beautiful and peaceful. The WiFi was working well and there was a kettle.

The location is absolutely top with the view of Mekong directly from the terrace having comfortable wooden chairs , table and a hammock! Very kind, welcoming, hearty and helpful owners and all the staff! We really appreciated their care and kindness! Lovely breakfast! Good restaurant with delicious local food! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I think it's an island wide issue but there's quite a bit of noise from passing motorbikes and tractors as well as by roaming dogs

The owner Noi is very friendly and helpful. She helped me with a minivan ticket to Cambodia and also I changing kip back to usd. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Good location

Unlike the pictures there was no mosquito net. Also there was only a thin fleece blanket and not real bedding.

The room was not properly equipped: the airco leaked, the shower was primitive, a light was broken, and there were no hooks or cupboards to store luggage. Sadly, there were also too many noisy dogs at night.

The gardenside room was quite big and also had a balcony.

We rented a bike on the first day, it clearly needs some maintenance. The motorbike on the second day was ok.

It was very chill, in from of the river. Obviously, one should not expect the same comfort as in a resort. But it corresponded to the pictures posted. One can easily reach Don Det, that seemed to have more "nightlife". They also organized the travel to Siem Reap, which saved a bit of organization.

The number given on Booking.com is not for the guesthouse! I tried to contact them before arrival and received a response from someone who is not even on the island. This is a problem because no information was provided before or during check in. I arrived at night. I stayed in the bungalows. The guest house is 50 meters down the road on the right. The restaurant and office are 100 meters down on the left. This should be explained to guests before they arrive! I had to walk from Don Det (long story) and then had to figure out how to get in the room. It's a short and pleasant walk to the restaurant but I shouldn't have to do that just to get the wifi password. It would be nice to have a piece of furniture or shelves for my clothes. I had to live out of my bag.

I stayed in a bungalow, right on the river. I enjoyed the view, the sound of the river, and watching kids playing in the water. A/C was a must, since Laos was going through a historic heatwave. The bed was comfy. Bike rental for 1 USD per day is nice. Noy was a great hostess, very friendly and an excellent cook!

Riverside wonderful location and very large room but moved over to Nongsak g/house since stayed 20 days and it was a lot cheaper. Kettle and coffee in rooms nice plus.

The shower was actually too hot! I would have appreciated getting bottled water every day. The cleaning lady brought some water one day but even though I was told it would be brought to the room the other days, it wasn’t.

We stayed in the garden room for one night without aircon as it was the only room available and we needed a cheap place to stay. Everything was okay but i would def. recommend to book with aircon during this time of the year.
