Owner David was really nice and helpful. Good location, walking distance to city center and restaurants.

It would be nice to have more options for breakfast (especially with kids things like jam or more bread would be good).

My room was comfortable and I had a bathroom both with bathtube and shower. Amazing! Bed also super comfy! Very quiet area as the hotel is located in the side street. David and his family and his staff very friendly, kind and helpful. I felt very good with them and I will definitely come back again. Very close to the Night Market, riverside and all restaurants. Great WiFi and good breakfast. Breakfast will be served in front of your room in veranda! You can choose eggs and coffee or juice will be served. Fruits are served as well.

Perfect location close to city center just a few minutes walk to attractions. staff always helpful and good breakfast. i have back pain due to the nature of my job. but the bed here is very comfortable and pleasant. i had a good night's sleep at the hotel.

Vieng Savanh II is a small, charming hotel nestled on a quiet street that leads to the river, yet it's right in the heart of the city. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The ones on the upper floor have balconies that make them even more enjoyable. The breakfast is à la carte, and the tomato and onion omelette I had was absolutely delicious. The coffee is excellent too. Beyond the comfortable rooms and great food, the real plus of this place is the family who runs it and lives on-site. David and his wife are incredibly attentive and professional, and they will help you with anything you need.

Lovely guesthouse in the heart of Luang Prabang. Located off on a quiet street so you don’t hear any traffic. Lovely staff that is very helpful, kind and friendly. Breakfast was incredible - loved the mango smoothies and banana pancakes! Clean and large room and water provided everyday. We loved it so much we extended a few extra nights!

I think the profile and the great reviews oversells the place. This is not an hotel, it is barely a guesthouse. The room is very basic. There was hardly anyone ever at the front desk to ask for assistance or secure strangers from walking in. I didn't feel the rooms were secured enough. no real locks on the windows very easy to open the room windows from outside. I had computer and valuable equipment that I felt uncomfortable to leave in the room.

No big downsides, if I had to find something I'd say the motion sensor at the entrance that keeps on beeping all the time. The description also mentions a free airport shuttle that does not exist, but nothing major, it's a very nice place to stay, in a quiet street.

I think most of the reviews in this country are fake...this is not a 9+...this is more a 7.5 being generous...I think for this price you can get something better in town...but of course the other reviews are also manipulated, so you never know until you get there

Well, only stayed one night in the property because of deafening construction work. The owner took me to a neighboring 4 star property which was very kind of him. Without the noise I would have stayed as it was in a great location and there was nothing to complain about

We stayed for 10 days. Mr. David , the manager was so helpful and friendly. He arranged lots of things for us - thank you! If you want a very nice location in the town that is comfortable and not load and busy, then you will be fine. The room was as shown in the pictures, the breakfast was basic but good. We enjoyed our time there. The only thing is the smoke from cooking that is in the air sometimes , but this is every place in Luang Prabang.

Located in a quiet street, the host is amazing and extremely helpful. He gave great recommendations for sightseeing, organised a motorcycle, and laundry within just one hour from the checking in.
