    “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The warm and friendly welcome made us feel right at home, and it was evident that the staff genuinely wanted to provide the best experience possible. The accommodations were clean and tidy, which added to our comfort. We absolutely loved the pool; it was a good size, impeccably clean, and surrounded by trees that offered ample shade. Additionally, the Sri Lankan dishes were both delicious and generously portioned.”

    “My wife’s loved looking out over the lake at the crocs while me and the kids turned to prunes in the pool. Food was great, room perfect for the 4 of us. Not a reflection on Cinnamon wild but the safari drive was busy, driver was brilliant but when the call went out there was a Leopard it was a traffic jam, still, saw a Leopard so swings and round-abouts.”

    “Yakadurru – Yala was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The staff were absolutely wonderful—attentive, professional, and always going out of their way to make the stay memorable. Everything was well organised yet the atmosphere remained relaxed and welcoming. The room was exquisite and beautifully decorated, and I loved being so close to nature. The food was incredible, and the nightly cultural dance shows were a real highlight. I booked my morning safari through Yakadurru, which was seamless and even included priority access into the park. The standout experience was the moon drive with Nishantha—his knowledge was incredible, and he was an exceptional host throughout my stay. Truly an amazing experience.”

    “We had an amazing stay a couple of nights ago the grounds really live up to the safari experience, we arrived via the taxi Yakaduru organised for us, which was a very fair price, greeted with lunch and then swam in the pool. We then went on a bush walk of the grounds where we saw crocodiles / peacocks / mongoose and then had a lovely dinner with a traditional dance show. We then had a lovely safari organised for the next morning and were given breakfast before we headed off to our next place. We only stayed one night but could have done more. All of the staff members are amazing, attentive and really take care of you during your stay. All of the staff really made the stay from our bush walk guide, the chefs, the waiter and everyone who works there!”
