Very clean place and a lovely host. We had a little trouble finding the place because it's located on a very steep road. I asked a random kid if he knows this place and he showed us. :)

Very personal attention. The owner was very helpful and we ate our meals there and the food was very good- especially the chicken soup.

Hosts were very kind and attentive. Rice and curry for dinner was delicious every time. Went on a tour with the host and he only charges me half price because we didn't get to see everything because of the rain. A little out of the city which is more peaceful and easy to get a tuk tuk ride into the city

The owners make you feel right at home! The most welcoming family you could ask for! Excellent breakfast, always someone available to give information and advice for our trip and many day tours available on request in a very normal price! The location is 5 min from Kandy center, the house humble and clean. For sure more than value for the money!

Sara is so helpful and kind. The room is clean and comfortable with a private bathroom. Sara's wife is such a wonderful and smiley lady and made us a delicious meal even though we arrived back quite late after our day of sight seeing. They are such happy and fun people with endless advice about what to see and do. Sara has his own tuktuk so drove us around for a really great price and showed us where is good to go. We can't thank him enough for being oue host

The room has thin walls so you can hear talking from the adjacent room but this wasn't a problem because people were respectful

The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear the other guests in the other rooms. But if people act normal and take care, this should not be a problem.

A wonderful place to stay - wonderful family, big and clean rooms, you can also eat there if you don't like to go down to the very busy city...

Eveen though the hosts were super friendly, I cannot give a 10 review. The issues are thin walls and noise. You can hear other guests talking (or snoring), moving. The rooms have built-in fans, which resonate. I do not know if it was issue of just my room (middle one of three), but if both rooms next door had the fans on, my room resonated like if a large truck was passing. So while the cleanliness and servicer were excellent, main point of the hotel for me is to sleep, and sadly, this was difficult. The bathroom sink was leaking and the washroom was not ventilated well, making the room feel wet. The smoking area is very close to the rooms and if other guests are smokers, smoke can be smelled through the facility. But that is very minor.

This hotel is a gem. The staff is super friendly and helps with anything you might need. I needed early check-in and early check-out, and neither was an issue. The host is friendly and often hangs out with the guests. The hotel offers a lot of touristic activities, like full day excursions to the mountains, Kandy tours and more, and all for a very reasonable price. They offer food upon request. However, if you do not need any of these, it is not an issue, they do not force their services upon you. The hotel offers pick-up and drop-off from Kandy and the price is very reasonable. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was hot water in the bathroom. Not lukewarm. Hot.

Nothing it was perfect

One of the best and cleanest stays in Sri Lanka. Room was very spacious and had a lot of shelf’s to put our bags and belongings on. I highly recommend this place for budget travellers and not only. Also good WiFi

Very welcoming host family! Location is a bit remote but host offered me a pick up by Tuk Tuk. The room is nice, very clean and also the bathroom is in very good condition. The offered food is very tasty and generous in portion size! As the location is a bit outside, it's a nice option to have dinner here. Did a full day Tuk Tuk tour for a very fair price. It was fun and Dilshan is a good driver. Overall, very good budget option. Recommended!

Very nice hosts. Good location away from the loud city center which is still very easily accessible by bus (or tuktuk). They have an entire food menu like a restaurant and great food.

Clam and quiet place with a super attentive staff. Very good location and close to all the main attractions in kandy. Pin drop clean wash room. Owner speaks good English. Will definitely come back.
