Lovely people, great cooking class and location is perfect just outside of Kandy city but way more beautiful and green. Would definitely recommend

Very quiet place a few car minutes from Kandy centre. Dinner and breakfast are very good, all ingredients are from the own little garden.

We had such an amazing time here. We stayed one night and wouldn’t mind spending more time here. The whole house and surrounding is so beautiful and calm as well as the rooms. They also offer cooking classes and we had the best class with Sandy and her family explaining all about their culture and food. Especially showing us around their garden where they grow most of the food and herbs was amazing. If you’re looking for something a bit more quiet in Kandy we can only recommend coming here!

The landscape view on the surrounding nature is so nice and calm, room has really nice design and high cleaning standards. The food is also amazing, moreover they offer also cooking class (which we did not take but it looked really good). The staff is so nice, we really enjoyed our time there far away from the busy city of Kandy

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We spent one night in this lovely place, located in a quiet & peaceful area. We were welcomed by Janith, who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We enjoyed some drinks at night and an exceptional breakfast in the morning. A special note to the garden where you can eat fruits directly from the trees. We felt right at home.

We were looked after so well at this homestay. It is in a smart suburb of Kandy. They organised an airport taxi for us and a tuk tuk driver to show us around Kandy. The food was fantastic! The best we had our whole time in Sri Lanka

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. You have to do the cooking class that they offer. The food is next level, and the coffee is exceptional. Highly highly recommend this place.

It was truly a hidden gem, the nature and garden surrounding the home opened up to a beautiful view and made you feel serene.I would recommend this whole heartedly if you’re staying in Kandy. We were a little sad we were staying only one night.

We had the most wonderful time at Sandy's place, learning all about the traditions and benefits of Sri Lankan cooking. The room was relatively basic, but clean and spacious. The location is a little out of town but very peaceful and only a short tuktuk to all the main sites 10/10

Its just out of city so you need a taxi to get here.

Wow, that was what we both said as soon as we arrived here. It's a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely view of the surrounding natural area with many bats flying around at night, which was amazing to see. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were happy that they arrved dinner until 10pm. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Kandy Living was one of the highlights of the holiday. We took a short tuktuk out of town (around 10/15 mins) and were welcomed by Janith with tea. The location and property far exceeded our expectations - it was such a fantastic place to base ourselves to avoid the hustle of Kandy. Janith suggested things to do, made it clear we could message him at any time with requests and really made us feel at home. Breakfast was fantastic and we could order other food/drinks when we needed. The cooking class was incredible, the chef spoke great English and was knowledgeable about the dishes (and very patient!) - Janith helped with explaining the origin of the ingredients and took loads of photos. Absolutely stay here when visiting Kandy!

The main room of the photos did not have an AC only a fan but wasn’t smoking hot during our stay so that was no problem

Everything was wonderful ! Especially their service and hospitality!! Janith, the wonderful staff, even gave us voice message to take care of us after we left the place. Now we have a home in Kandy!! I absolutely recommend this accommodation to everyone!!
