The Grande Villa is exactly as you see in the photos: warm, elegant, with marvellous people working and great services. We also had dinner and the food was good. The breakfast was high level and you can choose among 3 different menu choices!

The hotel has a charming vibe and adds to the experience of staying in this town. The staff is great. They are super friendly and helpful.

The bed linen and towels were stained. Some things were quite worn. For example the bath tub didn’t look inviting to use because of the stains and broken knobs.

We had an amazing stay at La Grande Villa in Nuwara Eliya! The staff at the reception were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Our room was very spacious with a lovely balcony, and the fresh, cool weather of Nuwara Eliya made it even more enjoyable. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, and the chef there is truly talented – every dish we had was delicious. We also loved that they offered great room service meals, which were just as amazing as the breakfast. Overall, the hospitality, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Highly recommended!

Great position, lovely walks around it and nice garden

Difficult to be understood and staff tend to hover in room. Served a beer that was not refrigerated . Everyone in dining room had trouble with food orders

Cold, shower keeps going hot and cold, jacuzzi exploded like a tsunami, when electricity went off so did the water and they took their own sweet time to turn on the generator manually - it wasn’t automatic

The property is not bad for the price you are paying, it’s a good accommodation, kept clean. The location is good and the staff is helpful for anything you want !!

Food can be elevated a bit, everything else was decent

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay always smiling and quick to assist. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained, with beautiful gardens and relaxing outdoor seating. Breakfast was excellent: freshly prepared, generous portions, and served with care.

I wish they had heating in the room, but upon request, a small heater was given but wasn’t quite enough for the whole room

Very kind and accommodating staff who were exceptional in helping me see a doctor, get medicine and adapt the food to meet my needs. Great value for money and charming colonial inspired residence with beautiful wooden furniture and large four poster bed. Very large bathroom with jacuzzi.

The room was spectacular. The staff was super nice and helpful. Besides they spoke English perfectly, so it was easy to communicate. There were three types of breakfast to choose from: Continental, Sri Lankan and Indian.

The service, food and room was exceptional. I had a large room with jacuzzi and outdoor verandah. The room was warm and cozy even though the temperature outside was cold and windy.

My stay at La Gande Villa was truly amazing. The rooms are super comfortable, cosy and spacious. It’s very centrally located so one can easily walk to many touristy spots from there. Last but not the least, the staff is super cooperative and nice - I caught a bad cold on a rainy evening in Nuwara Eliya and they got me medicines along with comfort food that I asked for. Highly recommended!
