Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

- The Pool area is not relaxing as it looks as it's open to the public, meaning you have people constanly coming and going. Unable to wind down on the loungers

The only downside was the weekend crowd—locals flocked to the pool, and there was often a drunk uncle causing a scene, likely because we were clearly foreign. For some reason, the village idiot always found his way to us. That said, the staff were excellent—always alert and quick to step in to prevent any issues from escalating.
Compared to what’s available outside of Reecha, this place is fantastic—a unique mix of theme park and entertainment venue with rooms, a hotel, and cabins. The hotel we stayed in was very clean and pleasant. Staff were excellent—very helpful and attentive. Food was good, a bit spicy and distinctly Sri Lankan, but they did their best to cater to our European preferences.

It gets very busy in evenings and weekends with locals. Swimming pool was dirty. Restaurant is very pricey.
The hotel is located in a theme park, so great with kids. Swimming pool is available. Spacious rooms.

One guest proceeded to play his boom box at level 11 at the pool from 21.00 hrs. The staff did not intervene. I was forced to leave our room and asked if he could play at an acceptable level, which he complied with .
Almost an oasis of calm , except when it was not. Good swimming pool and restaurant. They even have a bar. When I mentioned there was a hole in the bathroom ac ducting that let in mozzies , it was quickly resolved.

Dinner sometimes noisy because of people using the pool.
It has amole pool side seating. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful

Hot water didn’t come in the tap and when complained they didn’t bother to rectify and when ordered room service it took so long to get delivered and food in the restaurant also not that good.

All good except SUVAIYARUVI RESTAURANT. Food good for price , but the staff , the way of handling customers very poor. They are contradictory on their service. As Customers we got fade up with the suvaiyaruvi staff.

The security was informed of our arrival. The reception was also informed. The rooms were clean and quiet, bedding was clean. The bathroom has hot water. Meals are available both at the hotel and nearby restaurants. Natural and nice surroundings at the hotel outside.

Room was not cleaned when I arrive. It was cleaned next day to a good standard. Some of the restaurant was off full food.some indian food.
Beauty of garden. Breakfast was good. Vegetarian restaurant was ok.

Room is clean and comfortable. Aircon excellent. WiFi great. Food great. There is a shop in the grounds for snacks and drinks. This is a very quirky place to stay, the hotel is part of a family orientated park/garden/organic farm. I guess it's aimed mainly at kids, but i found it quiet enjoyable to pass time. It's a bit of the beaten track, but I think well worth it.

Only issue I felt was needed that the kettle and hot drink to make coffee or tea. That the guest could do .

There is an expensive resort in the park for tourists( like us). This wasn’t a dislike, but a beer there cost a great deal more than a meal for two in the park restaurant.
This is a centre parks Sri Lankan version, not that we had realised. Quite a hoot. Lovely clean rooms. Very friendly attentive staff.

The only slightly negative thing was the last 1.6km of Road getting there. It has quite a lot of potholes. Reecha has everything that you need, but it is quite remote from anything else.
I stayed an a cabana and it was excellent. It had it’s own wifi router which worked really well. The restaurant had European food as well as Indian and Singaporean. The pool was good.
