I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. There was always hot water available, and everything worked perfectly. What impressed me most was the staff everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I truly felt well taken care of and would be happy to return anytime. Highly recommended!

Clean room and close to the temple.

Rooms were immaculate, lovely watermelon air freshener! Bathroom great size, very clean, great shower! Staff super friendly and knowledgeable

Price and location. Welcome juice was delicious. The staff was responsive when we complained about the stains on sheets and towels. Coffee/tea center and shower were decent.

Even after we changed our room, it didn’t feel clean. There were stains on curtains and walls. Although Booking listed that the facility accepts credit card, they asked for cash with the excuse that their post machine didn’t work. They played nonstop recorded chanting, even at night.

It’s a nice and quiet place, very clean and the facilities are good.

Watch out the family dog can make some disturbing noises during the night, and the restaurant wasn’t open (why we’ve have chosen this hotel instead of an other too bad)

We stayed one night at Settle In Tourist Lodge and had a great experience. The owner was really nice and welcoming, and personally helped us arrange a taxi, which was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, with a proper bed and hotel-style bedding—much better than we expected for the price. Breakfast was also great and definitely good value for money. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the lake, bars, and the Temple of the Tooth. Perfect for a quick and relaxing stay in Kandy!

Rooms all spread around courtyard and garden which was pretty . Easy to walk to the tooth temple , good breakfast .

Fairly pricey , not many places to eat in area .

The fridge

I personally think it was too expensive for what it is, at the end i had to pay 5$ more because of a "tax" that i didn't understand what it was, i found a leach in the bathroom, the smell coming from the bathroom was very bad and i didn't like the fact that there were 2 cm space in the entrance door which allows animals to get inside.

Great walkable location to the lake and some restaurants. The hosts were so kind and accomodating. They have a great laundry service here as well. We could even park our rental tuk tuk. We really enjoyed our stay! Comfy beds, hot water, and speedy wifi really were the cherry on top for us backpackers!

nice staff, made me snack upon request for my train ride to Ella, helped me to call tuk tuk and get train tickets

there was no mosquito net in the room and a lot of mosquitos inside, bathroom could be cleaner
