Everything was fantabulous...! It was very comfy, pleasant and cozy stay. All the amenities were there and the room was clean, beds were comfy, great temp showers. Really friendly propertier, manger was very engaging and friendly and all the staff was really friendly. Few minutes away from Temple of tooth and city center. Love the vibe, aesthetics and surround really soothing. One of a kind experience.

Nice accommodation in Kandy! So, in Kandy, life revolves around the lake. There are basically four sides of it - the crazy hectic side with the train station and the caffes and tourists, the temple side with the world-famous temple of the tooth relic which is also quite busy due to all the visitors, the sightseeing empty promenade side and the far corner of the lake, where the views are great and tourists are few - the quiet side. This side is where the Settle In Lodge is at. It is about 10 minute walk to the temple or 15/20 min walk to the "center" of the town - very pleasant walk by the lakeshore, by the way. I thoroughly enjoyed walking back and forth and staying someplace quiet. The accommodation itself was basic but nice, the room was spacious, WiFi was probably the best I encountered in Sri Lanka, they had the breakfast option too (I did not book that). The landlord was a high energy cool guy who organized my pickup and drop off at fair price and the communication was fast and on point. Would definitely recommend this place for those wanting to stay on the quiet side of Kandy!

The room is a bit dark since you can not open the windows. The owner was a bit hard to find at times but still helpful :)

Its a good location, very close to the lake and 5 min from the sacred tooth temple, 10-15 min to the main bus stop. The room was very well equiped with an AC and a small refrigerator. Bathroom also fully functioning with hit water. The setting outside is nice with many tables to hang out or eat breakfast and dinner :)

Friendly manager, great aircon and internet, very comfortable. Some other reviews say it’s a long walk from town but I disagree, it’s not far at all and the walk takes you around the beautiful Kandy lake!

Could have been cleaner, some mould on wipeable window. Somehow white towels got really dirty being hung up and unsure how or where within the room, something must've been dirty. My friend wasn't a fan of the resident ?polecat in the roof or the pet gecko we had in our room but it was very cute No nets and mosquitos could come in through vent in the bathroom.

The location is at the end of the lake. You need to take a tuktuk or walk into the town or the bus station. If you prefer to stay in the town it is a little bit away but it is peaceful and close to the lake.

The room is very comfortable & very clean. The staff are very kind and helpful. The owner is knowledgeable about travelling around and can help with a lot of things.

Really lovely and helpful host who always helped with our questions. The room was really clean, great aircon and had lots of little touches that we haven't seen in other accomodation that made it really comfortable. A walk into town but not too far.

Location is just nearby Airport, Niroshan and his son are wonderful people. They had dropped me off at the airport at the requested time with no cost as it was assured. They're as beautiful as Srilanka.

Udite ( the owner ), is a down to earth man, he likes to sit with the guests and talk about life! There is a chill area where you can watch television ( cricket, rugby mostly 😂 ), and also a nice addition to the story, there are 2 guys ( one ossie bloke and one German dude ), who also have taken residence due they are working and living in Sri Lanka! Udite speaks good English and gives some good advice about the area and the lads can take you to some local bars 😉! I had a wonderful stay there!

I stayed at Settle Inn Lodge with my family for one day. The property owner and his wife are accommodative. The room charges were budget-friendly. We had breakfast at the lodge and the price of it was reasonable. Overall, we were happy to stay here.
