A bit far away from the center

The hotel is situated in the forest which is really nice and quiet. Swimming pool, game rooms and free bike rental gives you freetime activities. Rooms are spacious and nice! Minibar is for free!

Loved having the raised large room. Beneath us, the colourful fowl roaming free and nature. Staff all excellent, friendly and helpful. Thank you for my birthday cake. Delicious a la carte breakfast. Liked the leisure activities offered foc.

The whole stay was incredible from start to finish. All the hotel employees were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Special shout out to Kalana! The rooms were spacy & beautiful! The breakfast was divine. Thanks all, would come here again to stay for sure :)

The staff are brilliant at the hotel, they helped us out so much organising tours to Lions Rock and the elephant safari. I also took ill on our last day, and the staff were amazing arranging to take me to hospital for treatment. The rooms are clean, comfortable and so peaceful. The hotel is a 10/15 min drive out of Sigiriya, but does have a lovely pool, hot tubs and gym.

I really cant describe how absolutely fantastic this place is & its the staff that make it. I booked this simply because it was close to a few sights I wanted to see and we originally had the Kandalama Heritence booked but this came up as a deal, but wow this place was FANTASTIC and im so glad we stayed here. The food is absolutely incredible. Dulsha is an AMAZING COOK. He even came out of the kitchen every night and said hello. A lovely man, and we're so grateful for his incredible food. Saheel, the chap serving us, was also incredibly attentive & didn't let anything go a miss. One of my favourite people had to be Vimek (i hope i spelt that right, the young driver! He took us all over and even in pitch black after a day of driving found a herbal tea garden where I could pick up some cinnamon after speaking to a friend. What a guy! Hope to meet him again someday! The lads in reception were also so so so incredibly helpful i just don't know their names. I've got to stay this is one of the best places we've stayed & we came straight from a suite at the Waldorf Astoria, it didn't come close to this. I would 100% recommend, there might be slightly fancier looking hotels, but the people make this, and these people are amazing. If you enjoy monkeys on your roof, a quiet complex of only 10 villas and the BEST STAFF IN THE WORLD, then book this stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a truly wonderful stay at Sigiriya Forest Edge Hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and perfectly designed for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious and fresh every time, with plenty of variety to enjoy. What stood out the most was the hospitality — the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever met. They always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Every time we needed to go out, there was a prompt pick-up service available, which made exploring Sigiriya so easy and stress-free. Overall, I absolutely loved my experience here and felt completely at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sigiriya — it’s the perfect blend of comfort, good food, and warm hospitality.

Our stay at Sigiriya Forest Edge was absolutely perfect! The staff treated us with so much kindness and care, going above and beyond in every way. Even when I had a small fall, they kept checking on me throughout our stay to make sure I was okay – something I truly appreciated. On top of that, the breakfast and dinner were delicious and made with such care. The hospitality here is warm and genuine, and it made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Sigiriya – you will be treated with the best care!

The location was great - 20 mins from Sigiriya Lion Rock and village. Very peaceful. Rooms were amazing - spacious and private. We all enjoyed the Swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool table, table tennis, archery . Staff were very friendly and attentive . Breakfast and dinner were good - varied choice.

A special thank you to four amazing people who made our experience extra special: Kalana, Isuru, Sajeeva, and Oshan. Your kindness, professionalism, and warmth truly made us feel at home. Every dish felt like a journey through Sri Lanka’s culinary heritage. The waiters were always available, ready to help with a smile, and attentive to every need. Everything was great, it’s about a 15 minute drive from sigariya restaurants and lion rock, so bare that in mind if you don’t have a private car. We did so wasn’t an issue

The hotel staff were very pleasant, the hotel room was comfortable big and clean, bathroom was big, breakfast was great, big and wide selection of choices, had a pool, we didn’t get a chance to use as we only stayed for one night, I’d recommend 2 nights to enjoy the facilities

The food in the restaurant was fine, but we found the breakfast menu complicated as it's broken into categories that we would have rather mixed and matched.

I loved the location set in the forest. There were lots of birds and monkeys around and the pool and spa baths a welcome respite after a day out touristing. Our room was lovely and the bathroom large and well appointed. The staff were super friendly and very helpful.

It’s not a dislike, but it could be even more cozy using some decoration on the furniture and putting something on the walls.

Really can’t think of anything. It was very comfortable.

We were 2 families of 4 with young adult children and we all really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable - modern, spacious and high quality. Each standalone and private. The staff were great - attentive and friendly but not pushy. A nice, clean pool - not massive but big enough. (& a couple of jacuzzis and a steam room). One of us used the gym and gave a good report. We ate breakfast and a couple of dinners and the food was good wife quality and well priced. We found the location good for Sigiriya sights but with a driver, that’s less of an issue.

Very friendly and service-minded staff who helped us with our transportation needs and safari trip. Also they generously accommodated a late check out. Chalets are very comfortable and modern. The facilities at the resort are great (gym, pool, billiards, archery)
