The property has nice green area in front of the house. Friendly owner. It was ok with the sound from road -I could hear it, but not extremely loud. My favourite beautiful beach is 15 mins by feet, possible to swim-no waves( which is rare on SriLanka)

The main thing is that the owner has 2 houses and they are different. One ( which we got) is extremely small and not what we supposed to get according to pictures and description from booking. But we had only one night booked (we were lucky:) so that we stayed. Owner was pretending that he isn’t aware of that mistake on booking. The other guests from the house we “booked“ told us that it’s regular story -because they had long term stay and could observe each arrival drama about “ mistaken reservation “. So get ready to be cheated SriLankan way :) I think it was the worst stay during all our one month trip around Sri Lanka. Awful, crazy uncomfortable bed-metal springs dig into the body-impossible to sleep. Next to the house is the river-so that get ready to mosquitoes. Next to the house is some massage table storage -dusty, dirty. Fridge was dirty. Oh! It was also impressive loud and noisy run competition of squirrels and cat trying to catch them-next morning some dust, stones were all around the floor fallen from the roof at night.

We stayed 4 night in this villa and our stay was more than fantastic!!! The host Shameera is such a great and wonderful guy. The villa is located in a very green garden with a lot of space around the building. You can sit on the veranda and look for hours only in the garden and you will see real nature with different flowers, trees, animals etc. It was so relaxing!! :-) The breakfast is served by the host every morning on the veranda outside and it contains day by day different local specialties with a wonderful taste. Also his hints, what to to in the surroundings and possible activities are great and useful. Thank you once again for hosting us in your small escape from normal life, Shameera. We will really come back to your villa. Promised!! :-) Best wishes George & Sabine

Located close to the beach, the homestay is very welcoming and has a beautiful garden where one can sit and relax. The rooms were clear, equipped with kettle and fridge and very comfortable. Would highly recommend the place. The host is very helpful and prepared a very good breakfast for.us.

Good sized room close proximity to beach. Wonderful, serene gardens, beautifully planted, alongside the river. Natural, sympathetic decor felt really comfortable. Very welcoming, relaxed, laid-back host. Fan in room. Excellent breakfast. Kettle in the kitchen. Really comfortable bed and bed linen made for a good night's sleep.

Property was quite dirty, particularly small kitchen area and bathroom. Dirty floor in kitchen, we had to clean the fridge before we could put our water etc in there. Grubby door and handles. There was a little hob in the kitchen but no pans, I looked in cupboards in kitchen and closed them again quickly - very dirty! Out of date and empty toiletries left in bathroom by previous guests - all went in the bin. Mosquitoes were the worst! as next to river!

Srilanka Dinner was arranged. Host Sameer did everything to make us feel comfortable and had a homely feeling.

The villa has everything you need - little kitchen, bathroom, king size bed, AC, ... The garden is a little djungle-like paradise with a lot of birds, flying foxes, squirrels, ... Especially the host is awesome. Showed me around to secret spots in this area. Can absolutely recommend to everybody!

My stay at Beruwala Sriyan Villa was exceptional. The serene atmosphere, attentive staff, and luxurious accommodations made it the best experience. I highly recommend it for a relaxing and memorable getaway.... the hospitality was the best🌷😍

Every thing was perfect

A piece of heaven in the countryside of Sri Lanka. The villa is located inside a beautiful garden and just 10 min from the beach. The host will do everything to make you feel at home. I really appreciate that the host took me to visit the surrounding area free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan, Indian or Western food. For a very reasonable price, he also offers an excellent dinner. Thanks again :)

We loved our stay at Sriyan Villa. Shameera is an extremely helpful and friendly host, from preparing us breakfast to giving plenty of tips of places to see in Sri Lanka. The villa itself is a hidden gem by the river and only 10 minutes away from the beautiful Morigalla beach. Villa is tastefully designed with antique-inspired style and has a green and peaceful garden. We will certainly come back :)

Had a perfect and special breakfast. I really liked it. Host is very helpful. Arranged free transport to the beach. And helped to find everything what i want. And there is a kitchen with all the kitchen items you can cook there in your way. City also near to villa.

Perfect getaway from busy life. Villa is furnished with antique furniture and was super comfortable. Owner is super friendly and supportive. He will provide you all the information and details you need. The villa was super clean and spotless!

Sriyan Villa is a beautiful place to stay when visiting the West Coast of Sri Lanka. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, organising local tuk tuk drives, delicious meals (cooked by the hosts themselves) and tours of the local area and much more. The tour we had with them was the highlight of our holiday! The villa itself is a beautiful near 200 year old building with a wonderful green garden and out of the busy streets (which for us was a relief coming from Colombo). Both hosts speak very good English and are more than happy to assist with anything extra you might want. The room we stayed in has good wifi, air con in the bedroom (which was great!), a good kitchen and the rooms were clean. Whether you are coming for a beach experience, relaxing getaway or sightseeing adventure, Sriyan Villa is perfect.

We love everything about Sriyan Villa. A cozy beautiful villa hidden in Beruwala, it was truly a treat to stay there. The lush greens and beautiful atmosphere gave us the much needed relaxation we craved. The owner is a very friendly gentleman who always checked in on us and made sure that we were comfortable and well cared for with exceptional service that goes above and beyond. I would not hesitate to recommend Sriyan Villa for a romantic getaway!
