We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWE LOVED EVERYTHING about the Chilli Studio a beautiful well kept private large apartment with a comfy bed, massive fully equipped kitchen and large balcony for you to eat the wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by Kumara and his beautiful family. You might even spot a monkey if you are lucky. Kumara made us feel so welcome he kept in touch with us to see if we were Ok and if we needed anything. He organised our trip to Udawalawe for us as well which was an amazing day. Thanks Kumara and your amazing family for the best stay we will never forget...Leanne and Melissa x

This is a great place to stay..,,lovely clean studio with a private balcony upon which a delicious breakfast is served. Very comfortable bed. The studio is well equipped with all needed to prepare own meals if required big fridge:freezer cook top kettle blender etc It’s spacious and well decorated and would definitely be suitable for longer stays than the 3 nights we stayed. Above all the host who lives downstairs was extremely hospitable and friendly and organised Tuk tuk driver at reasonable price for our onward transfer. There is a train line at back of property but this isn’t a problem at all and didn’t disturb us. I would recommend Chilli studio without hesitation and would stay there again if in the area.

New ZealandWe had an amazing experience here with Kumara and his family. Thank you for the hospitality, attention to detail and care. We stayed here for five nights altogether, and we felt comfortable the entire time. The apartment is a large space, full of character. It is very clean with a great outdoor area to relax in. We had a tuktuk which made it easy to get around, we were allowed to park inside the property too. The breakfast was amazing - we couldn't finish them - you can count on starting your day with a full stomach. Honestly - thank you so much for making our stay in Unawatuna so memorable and special.

Sri LankaIf you’re a light sleeper the train runs just behind the apartment, but we quite enjoyed watching the trains go by and it didn’t bother us
Self contained, private studio apartments with a well equipped kitchen and lots of space. Balcony was a really nice space to relax and watch the trains go by. Great breakfast served by Kumara’s family who stay downstairs
