It‘s not possible to do an early check-in, but while we waited, they let us go to the toilet in one room they keep for that. Everything else was very good.

The hotel is amazing, the rooms are very beautiful and super clean. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean. The woman from the staff is really nice and speaks very good English. She also explained to us how to properly eat the Sri Lankan breakfast, which by the way was delicious! I can highly recommend this cute hotel, with very good location, next to the Galle Lighthouse.

Host was so friendly, helpful and speaks good English. All staff are friendly and it's a safe, clean, beautiful place to stay. Food and beverage are delicious. The decorations are very authentic plus the supermarket is next door. Super convenient to the lighthouse and museums too. Breakfast surprised us with it's great healthy choices of fruits, traditional Sri Lanka treats and fruit juices are amazingly refreshing.

The property was absolutely charming — a perfect mix of vintage style and modern comfort. The old doors and furniture gave character, but everything was well maintained and clean. The bathroom was small but spotless, modern, and had a beautiful vintage touch. Breakfast was amazing! We were served a full, hearty Sri Lankan breakfast with hoppers, fresh fruits, and more — truly delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Location is unbeatable: quiet, cool area with cute narrow roads, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the lighthouse, and the fort. We stayed just one night on our way from Ella, but honestly, it wasn’t enough. I would have gladly skipped the mountain journey (and the motion sickness that came with it!) just to spend a few more relaxing days here. A truly special place — highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, aesthetic, and well-located stay.

We were nervous about staying in town, but it was definitely the place to stay as it wasn’t noisy and you had all the surrounding culture there. The room, bed and shower were perfect. We had a Sri Lankan breakfast ! Our first and it was very nice. We had laundry done, which was a blessing. Lovely people, fun to be with.

Great location in the old centre of Galle. Very quiet and calm but in the centre close to all the restaurants and walking distance to the fort etc. The hotel is decorated beautifully and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also super tasty!

Breakfast was excellent but should have been communicated on check in or nights prior - no issue with the breakfast, just the communication Wifi in room was poor, but in lounge was excellent Staff friendly but reserved/shy, could be some simple training to really lift this and the guests' experience with it Shower gel and Shampoo containers in shower were unmarked - a little sign would help Aircon in room emitted bright light all night. Screen it, or show guests a way to dim it
