Wild Coast Tented Lodge is, without a doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were completely captivated by the location and the stunning architecture. The design is a true work of art, with the "cocoon" tents and main buildings blending seamlessly into the wild landscape. The interior design of the tents is a perfect mix of luxury and rustic charm, making it a truly unique and comfortable retreat. The all-inclusive food and drinks were nothing short of amazing—especially the curries and unlimited Hendricks gin and tonics! Every meal was a culinary treat, with a delicious variety of dishes that exceeded all expectations. A special mention must go to the incredible spa. The masseuses were absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend the Ceylon massage for anyone looking to truly relax and unwind. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. They are the loveliest and most attentive people we've ever met. Every single person, from Kavi at reception to the park rangers, drivers, waiters, and chefs, went above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible time/ honeymoon. Their warmth and genuine friendliness made our experience truly special and memorable. Wild Coast Tented Lodge is more than just a hotel; it’s a magical experience, and we can’t wait to return.

With how well you're fed, a gym is definitely needed (which we heard is coming soon!). It will be the perfect way to burn off all the calories.

Fantastic property at the gates of Yala National Park. Delicious food. Well worth the expense. One game drive a day included in the price.

Exceptional. Everything. Food was incredible. Staff were so friendly and kind. Our ranger on the drives was outstanding- forgive me for not remembering his name. He was truly passionate and so fascinating to listen to. The grounds are amazing. The pool area was gorgeous. The room was out of this world. Binali organised a surprise dinner on the beach and a cake after guessing it was our honeymoon, which was so thoughtful. The manager took time to find us and speak to us on our second morning too. They even prepared us a snack bag to go. It was more than anything we could have ever dreamed of. Thank you all so much, the best hotel we have EVER been to.

We recently stayed at a tented lodge for a safari night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The tents were beautifully set up, blending comfort with the authentic charm of being right in the heart of nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild was both thrilling and peaceful. The highlight for us was the safari itself—our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making every sighting special. We were lucky enough to spot a variety of wildlife, and the kids couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a treat, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Sharing stories around the fire after dinner made the evening even more memorable. Overall, this experience was everything we hoped for and more. Our family left with full hearts, happy memories, and a strong desire to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical blend of adventure, comfort, and nature.

Our whole stay at Wild Coast was magical. We came to celebrate our honeymoon and there could have been no better place. The concept is incredible - a luxurious experience while nestled amidst nature. Staff is incredible and take very good care of you. Food and drinks are incredible. We stayed 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed for longer. Game drives were amazing. We had a spectacular dinner on the beach under the stars. Every minor detail is so carefully and meticulously planned. Wild coast has been a major highlight from travels over the last 15 years.

Too many kids during our stay. It should be an adults only resort or with a dedicated area for families, so that other guests can enjoy some quiet and relax

Our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. Amazing location, stunning tents and fabulous service. Hands down the best we experienced on the island and up there with some of the best in the world (Oberon, Taj, Aman). The staff really added great charm and couldn’t do enough for you. Everything was beautifully thought out and executed, and in such a remote area. Truly impressive.

This hotel is truly outstanding. The service, food and drinks (particularly coctails) were fantastic. The mix of relaxation and wildlife is amazing. We even experienced an elephant coming into the grounds at dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The fresh food was outstanding, as was the hospitality.

The team at Wild Coast were very attentive and very friendly and positive in their roles, we were treated like royalty. The rooms were exceptional and very comfortable. The bath was amazing and the products provided were a great thought by the resort. The food was next level and we attempted to try something different each night however it was hard as our first night the meal was exceptional and it was hard to not have it again. I think the pool in both the room and the resort were the perfect size and temperature. The wildlife around the resort is great and you are encouraged not to interact with it to ensure it stays as nature should! However the monkeys did scare me a little! Overall a perfect experience and I would highly recommend at least a 2 night stay !

Only thing I would like to see changed is if the resort asked their guests their choice of beverage for in their room, wine is supplied however we are not wine drinkers, however a quick what's app to our lovely concierge and a couple of scotches were delivered.

This is a very special place right in the heart of Yala. It is a 5 minute drive from the national park entrance! We saw lots of wildlife while here for only 1 night! Snakes, deer, birds, iguanas. And then even more on the safari which is included - elephants, monkeys, mongoose, leopard. They had a special surprise for us for our honeymoon - a romantic dinner on the beach! Everything I can think of was 10/10 - the staff, the pool, the bar, drinks and food, the room, access to the beach, uniqueness of the decor. Just the best place I have ever stayed in.

Only thing that was a little negative was the proximity to other private pools with noisy kids.
