How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The apartment was very nice with 2 bedrooms and lounge with kitchen area. The location was perfect by the sculpture park with walking distance to the old town and the railway station. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Everyrhing was nice and clean, but it feels a litle bit dark in the room in evenings. As well it's feels that it's not brand new.

Tiny shampoo bags at the Bathroom was kind impossible to open.
Having been in most of the Klaipeda's Lodges, I can take full responsibility to recognize Ararat Hotel as my #1 favorite. Here's why. 1. Hotel offers wide studio type accommodation with Kitchen, TV and sleeping area. Not just a space for bed and a suitcase beneath it. 2. Hotel Interior is Georgios making one's feel like in a museum. 3. Breakfast is great. 4. Parking is cheap and easy.

Restaurant was amazing, we tried homemade napoleon cake. Try it! Room was spacious, it had a comfy bed, sofa for lounge and also great kitchenette. Great staff- helpful and all smiles. Breakfast space was big and beautiful. Also breakfast was yummy!

Lack of parking spaces. But staff was kind enough to find the solution
Room was very clean and restaurant was very cozy. The food was delicious. Breakfast was very tasty. All expectations were met.

I think some furniture needs a little bit of upgrade, it is a little bit worn out and this does not help the overall hotel image.
The kitchen is great, there is a lot of space, also there is a microwave which is really handy. Breakfast is great, there is a lot of room in the eating area.

Water for 3€, wooden shelves and table needs refurbishment, many scratches.

Difficult to answer.
Wonderful, quiet, peaceful place very close to the city center. Huge room with all amenities. Great restaurant in the hotel. Convenient parking. Always happy to return to this hotel.

As I always assess full picture, there is nothing to complain about.
This is more than Hotel. Besides as name suggests it features suits not rooms that makes it very family friendly with all the amenities available. Second, the Interior of the Hotel suggests you may or may not be in museum or in the Palace. And last but not least- The Breakfast. The Best in Klaipeda.

Hotel rooms are a bit outdated.
Specious room with separate seated area and a small kitchenette - big plus. Comfortable bed. Clean. Tasty breakfast. Located in front of a park. Quiet. Great restaurant. Often the first choice once in Klaipeda. Good value for money.

If you come for breakfast a bit later than 8-9am it could be quite empty at that moment.
I realy enjoyed staying at this apartment hotel. Comfy bed, clean and well equiped rooms. Good location as well.

Going to the bar to order a drink was a trip, cause we needed to exit hotel and walk around the building, and enter bar from different entrance. Choice of food in breakfast was very poor. We asked the employee of hotel to refill plates and food, cause kids were getting impatient, but refilling were really slow. We expected much more for this price we payed for staying in hotel. A suggestion - hotel should improve sound isolation. In the evening there was loud music playing in hotel until perhaps midnight. Luckily kids were tired and could fall a sleep easily, but for adults music was disturbing. Next morning kids were playing around and we got a call from lobby someone below our apartment was complaining that kids are too loud. I guess we were supposed to complain previous night about music as well!
Spacious apartments. Clean hotel. Good communication skills for employees on reception.
