No coffee maker or French press, we ended up making coffee in the cooking pot. Parking can be scary if you’re not used to cliffside, tight parking and maneuvers up/down the hill.

While some might point out that the interior isn’t as modern as a typical hotel and that a few things could use some repairs, the space has a unique, roomy character and warmth that modern places often lack. It felt more like a welcoming retreat than a hotel stay — and we loved that.

We were warmly welcomed by a super attentive and caring owner — such a lovely surprise after a long, exhausting flight! The location is just perfect: calm, peaceful, and full of charm. A small, beautiful garden, quiet boats, and a sleepy lake just 20 meters away create a truly relaxing atmosphere. It took us only about 15 minutes to walk along the scenic lakeshore to the nearby castle. The place had everything we needed for our one-night stay. I highly recommend ordering the breakfast — it’s hearty, homemade, and served in generous portions, which made the experience feel very homely and personal.

Very friendly owners. We arrived late, luckily owner agreed to wait for us. Nice place with good view. Shared kitchen fully equiped. Late is just walking distance. Castle 15min walk. Parking a little tight but comfort.

It was a quiet room with a beautiful view of the lake! Clean and tidy, walk to castle and restaurants. You must pay cash in local currency. Great value and super friendly host!! I even received goodies from the garden as a parting gift! I also went on the trail in the front that continued on the lake and connected to the other lake!! Also free parking!! Yay!!

Bed little firm, could use a matress topper.

Had a room with a tertace which had a great view of the lake. You can go swimming there as well and the water was great. Conveniently located 10 min walk to the centre and less than 15 mins to the castle. Hosts were welcoming and lovely.

We liked everything about the property. We stayed in a family room (2 rooms) balcony, then we had a shared kitchen and bathroom which was no problem at all. Property was spacious and clean. Had access to the garden and a lake. We enjoyed swimming everyday with kids. The property is 20 min walk by the lake to the castle. Auguste was a perfect host and made our stay special, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning! Thank you :)

Very warm welcome, the whole property was beautifully clean and the room was very spacious. Comfortable bed, access to cooking facilities. The location was excellent with a small private pier to access the lake for a dip and then drying off in the beautiful garden.

Perfectly located place to stay. Romantic, right beside lake and castle viewable from balcony. Kid enjoyed easy access and possibility to have a swim in the lake. Very good and fully suitable for a family with two teenager kids.

It was not clearly understood in the reservation that the bathroom is shared and on the 1st floor. The hostess was so kind and changed to a room with a private bathroom for an additional fee.

Parking place is very narrow. You need high skills to park the car there.

If you're looking for a dream place to stay, then this is it. The rooms are large, well furnished, and super clean. We had a beautiful deck with a gorgeous view of the castle and lake. The garden was perfect, peaceful, and amazingly maintained. The hosts were so friendly and truly lovely people.

It was a great place to ben and very good for the price. We really enjoyed it!

The house is very close to the road and easy to find, and also not noisy and the cars passing don't bother at all. The rooms had views to the lake and they were very peaceful and large in size. The common bathroom is downstairs so you have to climb some stairs but nothing out of the ordinary. It has a decently equipped kitchen and you can use the fridge and whatever is at your disposal. The owners were welcoming and helpful, although the spoke only little English, but we could manage with willingness. There's a big garden and lots of outdoor space to eat, lay down, do yoga, meditate or run around. There's also a promenade around the lake from the house itself and you can go to town through it. There are some restaurants only 10 minutes away on foot.
