Small bed for couple

Calm and clean place.

There wasn't a bed, but a click clack sofa bed instead, which had a dent in the middle, so not the most comfortable to sleep in. The bed itself had a strong smell of stale smoke. The room itself was clean and didn't smell, but as soon as you lay down/get close to bed, a very unpleasant smell was evident. Thankfully I was exhausted arriving late at night so fell asleep fine, but I wouldn't have enjoyed it if I had to spend a full evening there.

The house was easy to find and the room was spacious and clean. Bathroom and toilet room both clean. Check in was easy and the host was very accommodating for my 2am arrival. There's a large communal kitchen with tea/coffee, a dining table and a desk, where I've spent the morning working on my laptop. The host was friendly and reassured me there's no problem if I had to stay longer, even into late afternoon which was nice.

Could notice smell of dust or the stale air in sleeping room. Location is close to bus stops but problematic for suitcase on wheels because of asphalt quality. A minor problem that all the electric sockets to charge phone etc are far from beds.

It's cheap and fine, separate room for this price in clean house is definitely rare opportunity. Old furnitures with lots of shelves, big table, "vintage" vibe like memories from early childhood at granny's place but it's not a disadvantage, just wow this still exists. Heating works well. Owner is polite and provided help when was needed.

The bed was a mattress on a couch, wasnt that comfortable, but could be worse. The house is pretty old, but serves its purpose.

There were a bunch of spiders in the corners of the room, we had to call the host to remove it. It was done immediately.

The vintage vibe have it a unique experience.

The only downside was that we were far from the city center. However, you can get there easily with the bus. Or you can walk as we did, it's a longer walk along the river and very pleasant.

We felt very comfortable and at ease during our stay there. Our room was large and clean, the bathroom was very well equipped with shampoo, shower gel and other little things. The kitchen is very well equipped with basic cooking utensils.

Very good for the price. Everything worked out fine. Good facilities in the kitchen. A little vintage, only good in my taste. Peaceful location and very nice neighbourhood with wooden houses and The Jiesia hills and Niemune river is near. Good grocery stores near.

The rooms and shared spaces were spotless, and the air fresheners made everything smell wonderful. The highlight of our stay was the laundry help — since the washing machine was in the host Maria’s private area, she kindly washed, dried, and even folded all our clothes for us. The socks were folded like little jellyfish — so cute! Maria’s kindness and attention to detail really made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

The room really is cosy, and the kitchen is very well-stocked! There are plenty of extra towels and blankets in the wardrobes, the beds were large and comfortable, the room itself is very tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is nice to spend time in. Overall, excellent value for money, in a secure, calm and comfortable location.
