Furniture and beds in the rooms were rather old. But its not really issue for such type of holiday

Amazing SPA zone with swimming pools - indoor and outdoor, sauna, turkish bath, jakuzi, etc. And take a massage treatment is MUST. So good place for relaxing weekend.

There were no plastic/paper cups available by the outdoor pool. We were given glasses for the water bottle we purchased at the restaurant which is not safe to use by the pool.

Beautiful Spa with load of amenities, amazing outdoor steam room, swimming pools are great. Everything is clean and modern, great location-minutes away from the beach.

    a) Bad internet during whole stay (we stayed in 4th floor). b) Restaurant is good but overpriced. Food is good and service as well - but for its simply too expensive for such level. Also restaurant is closing at 00:00 but they started to move tables on 23:30 while we are eating:) b) Sound isolation is not so good- there was a wedding in the hotel so till 00:30 it was quite noisy.

    a) Very nice design hotel. b) Amazing SPA available whole day: very clean, great pool and baths. We also ordered some massages that were great. c) Spacious room. d) Great staff. e) Very very good breakfast - amazing selection!!!!!

It seems, they are living in comfort zone. Breakfast was not good at all, I would expect much more from 5 star hotel. There was not very much to choose from and vegetarians/vegans can have some fruit or bread.. Room was almost nice, balcony was lovely. Shower was broken, spider was hanging out in our bathroom wall. Room seemed a bit old and needs some update. Overall OK hotel, but not worth the money!

Location, outlook is nice. Concierge was nice!

Guests of the hotel completely disregard the spa rule asking not to bring children after 17.00 h. Children are making chaos in all pools and jacuzzies and parents do not care at all. However the staff should care about making all guests comfortable and make sure the rule is being followed and children are out by indicated hour. It was impossible to use jacuzzi, you could forget any idea of relaxing. The hotel should really look into this. P.S. we stayed with the child too, but we respect other guests right to privacy and right to relax undisturbed..

You would either have to walk outside your building for the breakfast or the SPA. Would be uncomfortable for a cold season. The first nigh, bed felt a bit uncomfortable but the next day felt better. May be it was from driving to the hotel for 3 hours.

Good location, not too far away from the Main Street, about 5 min walk. 2 buildings: one with a breakfast restaurant; the other with the SPA at 50m away from each other. When its warm nice to walk. Very good breakfast with a big verity of food, enjoyed a lot. SPA is great, always fresh towels and sheets. 3 sauna, a relaxation room with water mattresses, a tea area, 2 swinging pool and a Jacuzzi are inside. Outside there are Jacuzzi with warm water and an old style banya with traditional rituals. An awesome experience that cannot be found very easily. Will be coming back!

Indicated on booking that tea and coffee facilities available..appears on standard rooms not the case, but had a word with reception and was included when upgraded. (Niggle points). If 5 star all facilities need to be available.

Property in excellent location.Breakfast amazing: I always believe a 5 star hotel includes champagne with the breakfast. Restaurant for dinning excellent, rooms great. Only question I would put forward that if you want to make full use of the fantastic spa set up, book the hotel where it is situated (aprox) 30 metres from the main hotel. I did not realise there were 2 hotels together and paid for an upgrade to stay at the spa hotel(20 euros/night). Did not want to walk constantly from one to another.

Slightly expensive, but in any case reasonable. I would not rate it a 5 star hotel, but rather as an excellent 4 star. The spa was not in the building, but in the hotel next to it. It is very close, and no big deal, but you have to go out of the building and out on the street for access. In that sense, it is not really a "spa hotel." I would recommend to book the hotel nearby(Palanga Spa Design hotel) if this is important to you.

Excellent breakfast, and restaurant. Very nice architecture, with a lot of nice furniture and details in wood, in all areas of the hotel. Nice to watch the tree tops from the room. The name "Luxury" is a bit misleading, it got a much more modern minimalistic style, with a boutique hotel feeling.

1)The spa zone is very big, but in spite of that there's no much choice of the bathes. The water in the indoor pool was rather cold. The lockers' system in the locker's room should be changed. Many people had troubles with the codes and system in general. 2) The bath room is pretentious, but many things are not meant for convenient use (e.g. sink taps and taps in the bath). The general impression is that nice, but too much overpriced for mid-April in Palanga. The restaurant and the view which made my stay in the hotel memorable.

Standards are slipping. It is definitely not worth the 5* as compared to 6-7 years ago. The staff got very comfortable with mediocre service they provide. Breakfast became a very crowded and noisy affair with a hit and miss supply of food. If you are lucky you get a good selection. However, two mornings in a row we were told that the waiting time will be 15-20 minutes to replenish certain food in the buffet. Really? In a 5* hotel? Also, we would have appreciated allergy/ingredient warnings near certain foods (eg. 'contain nuts, gluten', etc.) during breakfast.

The beds are comfortable and the bedding is really clean. Quality of food (breakfast) is good but short of excellent.

Spa is in Another building, but thats no problem at all, few meters walk is just better for you. It looks like it needs some repairs. When I stay at five star hotel I expect that everything would be as it intended to be, but in our case shower head was broken, toilet seat was broken, steam sauna in the room was kind of useless, seat in the sauna simply needs a change - the leg is heavily rusty. When it comes to breakfast I would expect that staff is asking for a choice of coffee or tea before I go to them and start looking where can I get it and was sent to the table and told to wait for person to come and serve me. Another thing - one cup coffee mug is a bit ridiculous. Are you saving on water or what? At five star hotel I expect that I'm not limited in number of coffee cups in the morning. Talking about breakfast staff - you definitely need improvement in service.

Location is superb. Staff at the reception is very pleasent. Food at the restaurant is very good.

Before going to bed, we noticed a strange and very unpleasant smell in the room. It appears that freon or some similar gas was leaking from the refrigerator (mini bar). We were given another room, not as good as we were in. No any compensation was offered, although it would be appropriate for the inconvenience (moving to not as good room with all the packs at midnight, with a kid).

The overall atmosphere, location, style is great. Very good pool, saunas and breakfast

The way how the hotel is being promoted. It is very misleading. There are two hotels one which is actually the 5 star is where the spa is located. Insist on this one and not on the other one as it is absolutely rubbish.

The booking information was very misleading. The room I booked supposedly should have had lake or sea views. Which was not the case. The complete difference. There are two hotels enjoying the spa. The one I stayed in is worse than a 3 star hotel.. The other hotel where the spa is located is fine it is a 5 star hotel. Even the room which I was allocated was extremely noisy and I had to change it . It was a complete disaster. Paying 5 star prices for a 2 + star accommodation was one big inconvenience.
