nothing special maybe fridge in the room...

Really good standard hotel, highly recommended. Restaurant provides quite good food, breakfast was great (buffet - maybe not very rich, but the suggest hot egg dishes). Surroundings are OK (now road construction is going on, but it doesn't disturb), Plunge park ir just 5 min drive...

The breakfast was very delicious, and we slept so peacefully in the luxurious room on the fourth floor. The window overlooked fields and forests, and there was also a terrace on the roof. For entertainment the hotel has a small bowlingcenter on the ground floor. This was very fun and a good experience. The staff is helpful and smiling.

Hotel Porto was both an excellent hotel facility and an amazing value! We were so impressed by the restaurant and its fabulous food and professional service! Breakfast (which was included) was terrific - in addition to an extensive cold buffet, you can order delicious blintzes, crepes and omelettes. The chefs are very talented, and lunch and dinner dishes were equally wonderful and inspired. In addition, the prices were very inexpensive considering the exceptional quality of the food. We were impressed by the number of people who were making this country hotel a lunch or dinner destination. We were a party of six, and we stayed in three rooms, which were all attractive and comfortable, and the bathrooms were great. Also, the spa - hot tub, sauna and steam room - was lovely and a very welcome amenity at the end of our busy day! And finally, although we bowled only on one night, it was a great entertainment option. Overall, we felt very taken care of during our four-day stay, and we would recommend Hotel Porto most highly!

Walking through the hotel's bowling alley to get to the restaurant was utterly surreal !!! But it was well sound-proofed and not at all rowdy, so no real complaint there, I guess. The woman at the front desk was pleasant enough, but clearly hadn't been trained for the job. It took 45 minutes to check in, and we nine people were the only thing she had to do. A/C not working in any of our rooms.

We had an issue getting back into the hotel having arrived back from a wedding after midnight. There was no-one on desk although we were led to believe it was manned 24 hours. A contact number was left but we could not reach anyone on this number. Fortunately a back door was left unlocked. Also for new hotel some design features could be better:e.g. - lift closing sharply, having to step over metal plinth to get in room were additional challenges for us travelling with elderly parents.

Helpful staff, good food, good value. Bowling alley was nice extra, good fun, and good value.

A bit outside of the town and somewhat close to the biggish road - not per se a problem .

It is a good hotel and suited our purposes very well (family with small kids overnight). Beds were very comfy and there was no noise from the road or the restaurant/bowling. Hotel staff was very accomodating. Plenty of free parking available on site. Wi Fi free and worked well. Definiterly recommend.
