To be honest we felt a little unloved on arrival, language can be an issue in these parts and we appreciate that it is not always easy to find the right words but a SMILE goes a long way!

The room is maybe too small for a longer stay. And a bit to warm.

The cozy hotel is a few minutes walking from the castle. Location is perfect. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable and shower was great. We had a short stay so we didn't really enjoy the nice atmosphere of the hotel. Extra points to the staff! They are great! One mistake: we did not have dinner there. Next time we'll, for sure!

The bed could have been better. We expected to find a double bed, as usual and as requested, but there were two single beds instead, and they were not tied together.

In room temperature control - the room got stuffy at times. Also need sensory lights in the hallways as you had to pry for the light switch in the hallways in the dark when going to the room which was inconvenient.

Room was clean, cosy and contemporary. Great location - 5 minute walk up to the castle. The restaurant was amazing downstairs - delicious steaks grilled and very authentic feel. We availed breakfast on our first morning and it was perfect - fresh bread/croissants, juice and cereal available. Andre was a wonderful host.

Hotel is an old building so bit up and down and round on the stairs. So no lift and of course not suitable for some people but hey-ho.

Free motorcycle garage, the hotel is set on a steep hill with a Chateau at the top. Walk down to the centre easy 6/7 mins to the river. Way back yes a bit longer! Stunning little town on a bikers / classic car run So alsorts driving by. Hotel itself good and clean with great beers and the steaks omg!😃

We stayed here only one night which is a pitty cause hotel is great. We got a lovely, rustic and stylish room, real treat. Manager was very friendly and hepfull. Since parking in Vianden is not so easy he gave use his parking spot till it got more empty in the city. Restaurant had great food where a couple could easily share one portion with some small additions, and food was so tasty ( we recommend spare ribbs). Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We felt very welcome, we even got the coffee before breakfast time from the cleaning lady.

Flies in the room and food is expensive over €20 for a chicken salad!

Location was good, staff were friendly and beds very comfortable.

I booked it because of the glowing reviews but was slightly disappointed. Our room was different from the pictures on booking.com. It was clean but very small, I'd say for two people - even cramped. It was ok when we got used to it though. One big drawback, however, was that the shower in our room had hardly any pressure, I couldn't even wash my hair. Breakfast was decent for bread eaters but had few gluten free options.

The owner was kind and wanted to make our stay pleasant. The bed was big and comfortable. Even though I had asked for two singles, my daughter and I slept well in one large bed. Good location, very easy to find.
