Wifi connection. The noise between the rooms can be approved.

The Bistro 1865 and the very nice reception of the guests. Very good food at honest price. Not far from the center, directly at the station and the woods. Nice breakfast, a terrasse at the backside of the hotel, nice location.

Hours of reception limited, especially a.m. (not a problem so long as you know)

Directly opposite railway station. Scenic area. Excellent value compared to Luxembourg City, which is easily reached by train.

The bathroom was quite basic, also no toiletries were available just one type of soap. This could be easily improved.

The breakfast was really good with a large choice of sweet and savoury foods. Bio eggs and home-made yogurt, with fresh bread and all kinds of muesli. The Rooms were quite simple but comfortable, the center of this small town was 300 meters away so the location was great. Good hotel for a hiking week-end !

The stairs/floors were making plenty of noise (in the early morning) while people were heading in and out for breakfast (on the 4th floor). Building/road works nearby that resulted in traffic disruption and noise.

Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Very helpful staff, from the concierge to the lady who was preparing breakfast. Comfy rooms with plenty of heating (there were -4 degrees outside at night when we were there).

The rooms could do with updating and the shower is open to the room without privacy. Beware of booking a twin room with a mate!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the in house Bistro restaurant was very good. It is very popular locally and tends to get booked up. They squeezed us in on the terrace on a Sat night without a booking even though they were very busy.

Room rather small due to ensuite having been added to the room at some point in the past. Also no kettle/hot drink making facilities provided.

Clervaux was a great place to visit, with some lovely walks and interesting places to visit. Hotel had good facilities and breakfasts very good indeed. Brasserie food delicious, with range of local dishes!

Only the person at the reception was speaking English.

Excellent location, right by the train station, but at the same time not too noisy. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. Also the bistro of the hotel has a great offer and it is a nice dinner spot.

No airconditioning in the room which was ok for me as it was still spring and only one night. But for longer stays during summer this will impact the comfort.

Nice, relativly small hotel with friendly staff and well located for a visit to Clervaux or Luxemburg in general.

The wellness opening times are far from good - only from 15h to 20h and this is not mentioned on the hotel webpage. We arrived late and had only 20 min left but the hotel staff kindly allowed us to stay a half hour after closing time. Still, this should be improved. The breakfast room is way too small and overcrowded. The water pressure in the shower/jacuzzi was too weak. The beds made cracking sounds. The location along the main street makes for more car noise at night than expected.

Located across the railway station but away from the town of Clervaux itself. The wellness is excellent but the opening times suboptimal. Good quality breakfast (but see also below). We took a better room category and were not disappointed overall. A plus point is that the windows can be fully opened. Parking is easy along the street in front of the hotel. Hotel staff was ok but on not a friendly word or good-bye on checkout.

The welcoming was rather cold, calling us "the one who booked on Booking.com"... not even mentioning our reservation name.

Located right next to the train station, just an hour away from Luxembourg City Gare. The surrounding countryside, mounts and river are superb. The restaurant Bistro at the hotel serves regional dishes and is a high value-price must eat at. The breakfast was the best we've had in a long time, totally worth and absolutely great service staff.

We stayed at four hotels – two in Germany and two in Luxembourg while seeing friends. All were booked through Booking.com.I thought having to produce passports at hotel check-ins had disappeared since Booking-com has all our details anyway. Neither of the two German hotels asked for passports and nor did one of the two Luxembourg hotels. The Hotel des Nations was the one that insisted on passports. Well not quite exactly. They wanted photographic identification. Since our passports were in the nether regions of our suitcases in our car parked in the street, I used my most prestigious photographic identity, my British Library researcher pass for the national library, which is based on all the latest security measures including eye recognition. Alas it still wasn't acceptable so out into the road I went and into the car for a document rummage to get the passports.

A family hotel operated very efficiently

I could not get Wi-if in the room. Also, room was on the older side with a worn out carpet and small bathroom. There was a mistake on the English information regarding the spa hours, which almost prevented me from using it. Thankfully, the manager let me enter anyway which was a relief.

Breakfast was delicious. Good quality food and a good selection of items. Wellness spa was also nice. The town and region are very pretty, especially for outdoor types.

Very good variety at breakfast. The free spa access was a superb perk, as I had been biking to Clervaux - I usually get restless, but this is precisely what you need after 100k on the road! Nice that I was able to put away my bike for free in the hotel garage.

Location: a bit outside the city. Otherwise we didn't like that during breakfast a guest filled a lunchbox, emptying half of the buffet.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly. SPA is not big but sufficient for the number of guests in the hotel. Breakfast was really good, with a nice view if you're lucky to get a table next to the windows giving onto the street. Food at brasserie was good with huge portions. Free parking nearby.
