Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Far from train station.Walking around 15 min.But can use taxi

We took the smallest and the cheapest room there. It looked like it was some kind of storage in the past, but had most of the things we actually needed. There were no problems with a car parking, but we were in low season (middle of september).

The absence of kitchen is a huge disadvantage - there was a microwave in the room, but it couldn't fully cover all needs for a family stay. Also, there is no trash bin in the room, so you need to get rid of your trash yourself everyday. Cleaning happened in our room, but it was very brief - we stayed for 4 days and expected that at least once the room would've been cleaned thoroughly. Beds also weren't very comfortable, we needed couple of nights to get used to them.
Concordia is a great place for a shirt stay and if you don't expect anything from the hotel. For such a price it's quite a fair deal. I liked that the hotel was in the quite neighborhood, not far from the river, and it was about 15-20 minutes on feet to the city centre of Jurmala. Inside the hotel everything was simple and functional.

The fridge works to noisy and you need to be careful with cornice when you want open the curtains.
Good place, not so far away from the city center. Comfortable bed.

Simple, clean, convenient. It reminded me a lot of my childhood and the rooms in which I rested with my parents. But we booked urgently - and confirmation and free rooms were arranged very quickly!

Considering that it should be a small room that fits a lot of people it was amazing. I loved the balcony cuz it was bigger than expected. There was also room service and they were taking out trash and changing toilet paper for us. The beds were comfy and one of them was a bit higher so we could stash our luggage underneath. I loved that there were always parking spaces available. It was a clean and a quite cozy room with very good wifi. The location is also alright, and if you're planning on traveling to Riga sometimes it's also a comfortable place to stay at, because you can drive out straight to it.

The room is quite small, but that was as i expected
You get what you pay for: a basic room with a bathroom that sleeps 4 in Jurmala. It’s about 15 minute waalk yo the beach.

Beds were a little to firm .. No tv in room .. apart from that was a pretty good accommodation for the price

Room gets very hot in the night (we stayed in hottest part of summer, was 30 degrees outside) and there are no mosquito nets on the windows so you can't keep windows open at night
Very friendly staff, rooms were very clean and well looked after, walls look freshly painted, large spacious balconies, great atmosphere overall and amazing location.

Bathroom door wasn’t closing properly, for solo travelers its ok, but for more then one person might cause some discomfort.
Price and location are excellent. Walking distance to the sea and a river right behind the corner (for those who are too lazy to walk to the sea).

Some walls need paint, do not expect brand new furniture or facilities. But it didn't bother us at all. It is a quiet area, but keep in mind it is 15 min walk to the main street (Jomas iela).
Concordia is one of the rare gems that take me back to my childhood years. The corridors, the stairs, the building overall, it all feels like being back in the 80s, but at the same time it is clean, room is tidy and well equipped (including a small fridge and a microwave!), everything's working and it makes a comfortable stay. The internet worked well, no issues parking the car either. On top of that it is run by nice and friendly people. I am genuinely glad that places like Concordia still exist and I hope it will be still there next time we go to Jurmala.

The location is very good - not far from the center and from the beach. Private parking. The staff was very nice and helpful. The accommodation was clean.
