This hotel is for people in tour groups. The rooms are not at all sound proof which wouldn't be a problem however the doors slam very loudly. Everyone in the tour groups go down to breakfast at the same time so doors are slamming everywhere. Also breakfast is super busy until the busses leave so don't go down until after 9, then the breakfast room will be empty. The bathrooms need updating and the staff are not on top of it.

The beds are comfortable and the room is clean, housekeeping staff do a good job. Property is located right near a tram and bus stop for easy access into the city. A supermarket is a 10min walk away unless we didn't go to the closest one.

When booking the room from booking.com, the prize included breakfast. But it didn't exist in the confirmation so I contacted the hotel. They told it won't include in the prize. We paid extra for the breakfast and it's ok - but hey, you shouldn't advertise by misleading!

Nice hotel in good location and nice personnel. Not too much services though.

The 9 Euro breakfast is few varities, it's not worth. The TV in the room is too old fashion, in fact, the flat TV is not expensive nowadays, the hotel should change the old one into new. Only about 10 TV channel, one English channel. The wall is not soundproof, a little bit noisy when my neighbour talking lauderly.

The room is very clean. The washing room is neat and spacious relatively. Also the heating installation is good, the room is very warm during the weather tempreture was below -6 celsius degree.

The walls are thin, and noises are easily leaking through them and the ventillation system from other rooms. The breakfast is way too expensive.

The price offer for DBL (as Single use) was really attractive (around 29€/night), but I would expect higher cleanliness in the room and especially in the bathroom. I guess it was just a co-incidence that the floor and sink was not polished - "sh.t happens" and maid could forget to do this task in my room just this one time, but for international hotel-chain it is not acceptable.

The place was perfect for the conference, which was held nearby at the VEF cultural centre! It was easy, fast and standardised check-in and access to my room.

You could hear everything that is happening in next room the walls are so thin. In the breakfast room they obviously played music from some internet radio, but in between the songs there were advertisments, and one of them was stomach cramps and food poisoning and throwing up. Not exactly an athmosphere you wanna have a early morning at the breakfast. I reccommand to make a good list of positive music and play it instead of internet radio. The breakfast tables were uncomfortably high and sofas low. Very uncomfortable. The (cleaning) staff did not say even hi when met them on the hallways.

I liked my room on sixth floor. The front task staff seemd very professional. Liked the sixth floor lounge.

I have asked for additional 2 hours for checkout (which is provided for Genius members), but the key stopped working at 12PM, had to go to the reception and get the key re-written - would be nicer if the key would stop working at the time of the ordered checkout not at 12PM no matter what checkout time was requested.

Quiet room, comfortable bed, free parking, tasty food at the restaurant.

    1. The bed wasn't comfortable and the pillows were terrible. 2. There were some issues with the electronic lock, it took LOTS of attempts to open it. 3. The shower drainage was terrible, 5 min shower and the whole bathroom becomes a bathtub.

The food in the hotel's restuarant was great. The staff was friendly.

Just one plug in the room, couldn’t properly prepare and charge my devices for the flight next day ... lady at the reception said that I should pay 20 something euros extra because when I made th reservation I put one person only. This doesn’t make sense, since I booked a twin room, what do they care who stays with me, especially since I’m not asking for beds extra or exceeding room limit. The room was clean, but not cosy at all.

I like that part of riga the most. The hotel was cheap and most of the girls in reception were nice.

A bit difficult to reach the hotel if you come by car from the city centre, because the hotel is on the other side of the street.

Perfect for the trip to visit Melna Piektdiena music club. The hotel is not far from the street, but you can barely hear the traffic noise. The room is basic, but have everyting you need. For this price a true value for money, very recommended.

View from top floors to the former state-electronics-factory "VEF" - with renovated Culture-Palace & Latvias oldest swimming pool - makes Days Hotel Riga VEF a good value-for-money choice. The construction works between the hotel and the city center were taking place during irregular working hours i.e. on Friday afternoons and weekends. It made it rather difficult to connect with the city center, the museums as well as to spend more time in a beautiful city with its rich Jewish and cultural heritage during short stays

Its vicinity to the Elkor, one of the best outlets in town. Green lawns around the hotel with benches. Last year there was a breakfast included in the price of our stay while this year even to get a double bed cost thirty percent more. With all the gratitude for the excellent location and services these new features do not contribute to the higher customer rating of the hotel.

The breakfast hours is 07:00-10:00 except weekends when it end at 11:00. When you get the breakfast area you see a long queue. You hardly get something to eat or drink. Even finding a seat is quite a victory to start the day. The breakfast area is TOO SMALL for the visitors. The price of the hotel is high since you can't say "breakfast included". The car park of the hotel is next to the bus stop and trees hide the sign. We had to drive a few times infront of that sign to see it.

The room was spacious and very clean. There is a bus and tram stop right infront of the hotel. You need to wait for a few minutes to get on the bus. You can reach the city center and old town within 10 minutes. The cost is only 2 euros and you buy tickets on the bus. Large but well insulated windows let you watch the city while keeping the noise of the heavy traffic of the road. The girls at the reception area are fast ie you get the keys very fast.

Perfect place for travelers by car or if you don't need to live in the heart of old town or central s erea ! Good space for the car and free parking who is unnecessary expensive and difficult in general in Riga, after several experiences. Went by bus to city centre from the hotel . Took us just 10 minutes by bus and very it was easy. Bus stop in front of hotel and the bus goes straight to the old town area. (Milda monument) Breakfast was absolutely satisfying. The attitude of some of the staff members. We wanted to have our breakfast at 7 am. By 7.05 hrs the entrance to the dining room was still blocked by chairs and curtains. I asked the manager/security guard, what's supposed to be the problem? After a while, he eventually opened the door, but the breakfast was not set at all. There was toast and bread missing. I mentioned this to one staff member. Instead of immediately attending to this problem, she asked me in a very unpolitely way for my room number?? Nothing learned from the past times in your country? Have you heard about friendly customer service?
