Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe got a little worried because the lobby area smells of cigarette smoke. However, all of the rest of the hotel does not - including the rooms and breakfast area. It is just like this from how they have the glass area in the lobby and smoking tables in the courtyard. I think they could try to air it out more.
We had a 4 night stay in Riga and a rental car, since Riga was in the middle of our Vilnius to Tallinn rental. So we needed a place that we were going to like for 4 nights, had a good enough location and public parking options (20euro/day at hotel was way too expensive). This hotel fit our needs perfectly. We booked a room which was one step up from the standard room and that was probably critical for our 4 night comfort. We had plenty of space, windows that we could open, an AC which worked well to cool the room, a functional shower/bathroom and a very solid breakfast - tons of choices. As for parking, we downloaded the EuroParks app and parked 1.5 blocks up in a huge lot that was safe and an easy walk. It was only 6 euros/day and I had complete control of payment through the phone app. Back to the hotel, we found everything to be great. The walk to the Art Nouveau section of town was literally 2 blocks. This is how we started out our Riga visit. The walk to and from the Old Town was like 10 min through several parks and very safe places. Honestly, I'm very happy we didn't find a hotel in the Old Town. I don't think it would have worked out as well as this hotel did. Having a car while visiting the Riga area was fantastic since we had day trips to Rundale and Cesis. So having to get in and out of old town + find parking there would have been a major pain. Prices for rooms fluctuated a lot due to EuroBasket being in Riga during our stay. Thankfully Booking.com helps you out with this by watching the price.

GermanyHotel is a bit dated; no view from the room. Too much "surprise" garlic in breakfast items. None of these were big issues, though.
Nice hotel room; really nice and spacious bathroom. Good location - near the art nouveau part of town. Little walk of around 15-20 minutes to the centre. Everything was functional and fine. Good place to stay. If their parking is full: Just a little bit up the road it's quite cheap to park. Look around- many rather cheap options are available to those who can walk a few hundred metres.

SloveniaNice hotel close to Riga’s Old Town. Despite being on a busy street, rooms facing the back are quiet. Parking at the hotel is €20, but street parking nearby is only €2/hour and free 8 pm–8 am — perfect if you’re just staying overnight.

ChinaA little bit far from the old town.
The staff were very welcoming, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of green plants adding a fresh touch. We stayed in a four-bed room with a skylight in the roof, which was amazing, and it even had an electric sunshade. There was also a lovely terrace to relax on. The hotel is spotless— even the bathroom had no trace of mold. Overall, everything was perfect. The only slight drawback is that it’s a bit far from the old town, but I still have to give it a full score.
