Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was modern and clean, albeit slightly dated in comparison to the main hotel building. The kitchenette was functional and is a great addition to the room. The hotel itself is within a short walk from the sea and there are several shops within a stone's throw. The staff were amazing across the board throughout our stay.

In our room which was in the appartment building the room stayed quite most after showers so the ventilation was probably quite poor.

Great modern hotel with spacious rooms and nice terraces (if you get a room with one). Check in was very smooth and easy. Saunas were great and reasonable priced. Breakfast had a great variety and high quality. Highly recommended!

It’s one train station away from town center, about 2km away. But by walking on the beautiful beach and everything needed nearby it wasn’t a problem.
Room setting is simple but had everything needed. Really like the floor heating in the bathroom. The buffet was also simple but had enough varieties. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, especially with the laundry service (which was much more conveniente than most hotels). Train station, a supermarket, and a lovely coffee vending machine are all right away.

Better scrumbled eggs preparation for breakfast, the eggs were just "killed" on the pan.
Fine location and friendly staff. Spatious mezonet apartment. Childs playground outside and small kids corner inside as well. Quite good breakfast.

The only downside was the inconvenient soap and shower gel dispenser.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast. I especially want to highlight the Spa - the administrator was very pleasant, and I had an amazing relaxing massage from the therapist Roman. We'll definitely come back!

It was too hot in the upper room. We didnt see any childrens chairs in dining area. The hotel does not have its own parking spaces, which was quite inconvenient when traveling with small children.
We stayed at the hotel with the whole family (3 small children) for one night. We got a family room, where there was a double bed downstairs and two beds + a sofa upstairs. Everyone could sleep comfortably. The room was warm, the air conditioning was good. There was carpeting everywhere and it was very clean. The bathroom was nice and big. The breakfast was good, the children were also fed. There was also a play corner near the dining area, which was a good helper when eating. The location is good, the beach is a 10-15 minute walk away.

Room reminds a construction site because the interior decors are plain concrete walls and ceilings. 20 min walk to the main Joma street.

Very friendly and helpful staff, everything went easy! As we celebrated a birthday there, they helped me to organize a little surprise and also prepared a lovely breakfast package for the morning as we have to left very early.

Family rooms have 2 floors. The AC is located on the first floor and although the floors are interconnected the air from AC is no getting to the second floor. It could be a minor thing for Jurmala as it doesn't get that hot but we were lucky enough and got 2 sunny days and it was very hot on the second floor.
Family friendly hotel with a very reasonable price offer. Nice breakfast. Playground for kids.

A great place to stay, with a two-level room that was perfect for our family with teenagers. Free street parking was available, and the hotel breakfast offered a wide selection and was delicious.
