I had a wonderful experience staying at Almarkab riad in Marrakech. The place was nice, comfy, and quiet—perfect for resting after exploring the city. It was also beautifully decorated, clean, and well maintained. The host was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for things to do and even assisting with planning. The airport pick-up and drop-off were included for extra charge at a reasonable price, which made arrival and departure stress-free. He gave information about Marrakech and dropped me to a Cathoöic church mass on a Sunday. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and plentiful, and I truly appreciated the early morning breakfast-to-go bag for my day trip to Essaouira. This riad offers excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-supported stay in Marrakech.

Mr. Fawzy is a super host and a very pleasant person. It is like you are staying with family. He came to pick us up from the airport. The apartment is quite big compare to other Riads in Marrakech. It is comfortable and has everything you need. It has a kitchen although going out for lunch or dinner is very inexpensive. The breakfast provided by Mr. Fawzy is delicious and has a lot of choice. The location is excellent. Near Bahia Palace, pick-up location for excursions and Jemaa el-Fnaa. All within walking distance. Next time without any hesitation we will stay again at Riad Almarkab. Thank you Mr. Fawzy for making our stay unforgettable.

I really loved the property so well decorated and several different floors and such lovely stained glass windows I would of loved to of stayed longer if there was more availability, the home owner was such a lovely man very kind and caring he even gave me a lift the following morning to where I had to go and did everything possible to help me he had everything you would need and the breakfast was also amazing there was far to much food i couldn’t eat it all and there was so much variety on what to eat.

Fawsys home exceeded our expectations. He is an incredible host! The room is much larger than the photos look and the terrace is incredible. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal! We also booked an airport shuttle with Fawsy which made our experience in Marrakesh effortless. DEFINITELY STAY HERE.

Rather small bathroom with shower, need to watch out if you are taller than 1.8m.

The room is very clean and colourful, nice courtyard and breakfast.

You need to be careful when using the sink (seperate from shower/toilet room) because it's up one stair, and you don't want to forget when you are done.

The host was very responsive welcoming and friendly, he went out of his way to help me with my luggage and everything else I needed. The place has 2 beds (one a double) tv, kitchen and private bathroom. The decorations are amazing and the roof terrace (if you are ok with steep stairs) is an amazing added bonus. I'm almost afraid to rate it a 10, because I want it always to be available for my stays! I will be back!

The location shown in google maps is wrong, so difficult to find it. Some outsiders might help you with location but may need to unexpectedly high amount to just showing you the right location or carrying you luggage for a few meters 😁

Everything! The beautiful riad, decorations, breakfast, and suggestions. It was the perfect location for exploring the Medina on foot. The street was quiet at night and it felt like a very safe area. The host was kind, friendly, and flexible when we changed our breakfast time every day. We would love to stay again when we come back to Marrakech in the future!

This lovely riad is located within a walking distance to all the main touristy attractions so we could walk everywhere easily. And the hospitality of the Fauzy was second to none, he recommended a few restaurants to us and the breakfast was amazing! I wish we could stay longer, would highly recommend!

Quite a few narrow steps up to roof top and varying floor levels , which was only a problem because I had an injured foot.

Very generous. Lovely hot pancakes, crusty bread, a selection of jams and soft cheese, yoghurt, orange juice, coffee and pastries. Could have fed 4 people! Lovely, quirky traditional decor.

Amazing place to stay in Marrakech!! Definitely recommend to everyone. The host is super charismatic and kind, decoration of the entire Riad was very beautiful, the room was big with a really cool air conditioner and the place was really private as well. The breakfast Fawzy serves is delicious and really well served, loved it! Very close walk to Palais Bahia and Badi Palace. 10 out of 10 in marrakech definitely. A warm hug to Fawzy, we really enjoyed our stay and you are a lovely person.

arrived late night and left early the next morning. It was a pity that couldn't enjoy much the house and terrace. Host was kind and offered paid airport pickup service, which was hassle free when arriving after midnight. The host prepared breakfast-to-go, which was convenient for my next day trip.

The owner was super nice and waited to pick us up from the airport even though we were delayed. He also gave us breakfast the night before because we had to leave super early the next day. It was very comfortable and had a nice terrace to sit on. It felt very safe and secure. Would have loved to stay here longer!
