Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe interior is a bit worn-out, but it doesn't disturb you stay, really.
After staying in different Riads for more than a week, we appreciated the traditional european comfort of the hotel. No, not 5*, but everything is in place and available. Probably in the warmer season, we could enjoy the yard, pool and spa and add some points. The location is very good, with big parking lot and a short walk to Medina. We didn't take breakfast, so there are no comments.

GermanyEverywhere in the hotel it was cold, including the rooms, no heating!!!
Nice hotel with big and well-maintained garden, close to the royal palace, which is within walking distance. To the Medina you need a taxi, about 10 minutes’ drive. There is a very nice pool area, but the pool was too cold for swimming as it is not heated. The rooms are adequality furnished for a 5-star hotel.

MoroccoWe didn't get any cleaning any of the days that was quite weird. The first day made sense since we were in the room and of off until late afternoon but the second day we went out quite early and got home at around 18 without cleaning. Also, I think there were some imperfections and details that you'd expect at a 5 star hotel that just didn't give the impression of high quality. These details were for example: No coffee or tea even though we had a kettle. No cleaning Loud and dancehall-ish music all day at the pool Sometimes not enough sunbeds at the pool Otherwise it was a very nice stay and I would definitely recommend it. The critique is mostly based on the price and the expectation thereof.
The pool was very nice and the room was also good. I liked very much that we received an upgrade for free to a better room. The room had great aircondition and an impeccable view.

United Kingdomcouldn’t hear the adhan easily. not as clean as we would have liked. very dated. no plug in the bathroom. fridge was dirty and did not work. no batteries in tv remote. standard May once have been 5 star but it needs some work to be considered that again. location wasn’t great for us but I think others may like the way it is in between the old and new town and you can walk to both.
the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. there is a large pool and the communal spaces are peaceful and well kept. it is right by a shopping centre which was useful. nice balcony with a pleasant view.

PortugalIt did lack the quality of a 5* hotel to be honest. Service was very VERY slow, specially in the pool area (expect to wait 1h for food and 20 minutes for drinks). It didn't ruin the experience but don't hold it at the same standards as an usual 5*. Not necessarily something bad, but the hotel is somewhat far from the medina if you want to walk (40 minutes), but it's just a 5 minute drive by taxi
The pool was very nice. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The bathroom was very good and had a big shower and bathtub. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

MalaysiaBreakfast is adequate but boring. I am used to sumptuous ones of hotels in other countries with similar standards. Wish they serve expresso coffee. Was looking forward to Moroccan food but the restaurant has closed, perhaps for renovation.
The location is great, next to Carrefour. The staff are friendly and helpful especially Ms Fathi Imane who helped me book a train ticket to Marrakech.

ArgentinaI'm mentioning this only because it's a five stars hotel. There's no black out on the windows, so i woke up when the sun came out and it wasn't muy idea of resting. The water for the bath was hot but it could be much hotter, at least, i would have appreciated it was hotter. The hair dryer was almost useless. The bathtube was way to high to get in. I had no problem with it because i'm 45 years old, but my father, who is 84 or another senior citizen, i'm sure couldn't have done it, or at least, would have found it difficult or very uncomfortable, almost dangerous. It was a really bad designing idea. I add a photo of it. The hotel is way to expensive for having all these failures.
The staff is really helpfull and welcoming. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very well located near the main attractions.
