Beautiful, quiet Riad on a main thoroughfare of the Medina, close to all shops, parking, and the beach. Attentive staff, cozy lobby space with fresh roses!

Hard pillows, woke up with neck ache. Shower handle was broken making washing difficult.

Very friendly helpful host, nice fresh basic breakfast. Great central location. Authentic Moroccan décor with little table, chairs and fire place in the room. Warm blankets for cold nights provided.

I loved the decor at the property. The beautiful authentic Moroccan decor added to the holiday experience. The staff were so kind, extremely helpful & welcoming whether it were early mornings, midday or late evenings. The beds were so comfortable, the en-suite was gorgeous & the rooftop lounge was spacious & open at all hours allowing us to rewind at the end of the night, meet and chat with other guests. Loved every moment staying in this hotel. Oh and the location was bang on in the medina, allowing us to explore the shops & cafes on our doorstep.

The shower in the bathroom made the bathroom wet and was in a way pretty useless, especially since it messes up the electricity in the room with the spreading humidity after only a short shower session. Bed was not stable and squeaky, no good comfort but OK for the two nights we stayed.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Perfect location in the very city centre. Nice and cozy interior style. Nice rooftop terrace. Breakfast good for people who like sweet breakfast.

We really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, every problem or question was answered or solved. Also to our surprise, the rooms were cleaned and tidied every day. Overall nice and clean facilities, and lovely interior. The location was also very nice.

I found the staff very friendly and welcoming. Halifax was very nice and helpful with every advice. Nice place to stay and close to the beach and medina. I would recommend for a stay excellent value for money.

The place was good for 2 nights with family. However, any longer, it would be better to book elsewhere. The bathroom was ok, however, could do with improving and better cleaning.

The location was great, and the friendliness of staff was excellent. The owner/manager would go out of his way to help us. The breakfast served in the morning was amazing. They gave more food than we could eat and drink.

Wonderful Riad at the center of the old Medina in Essaouira. Very easy to find and easy to get in. It's well located and near to everything your need.

This was my first time in Essaouira and I was a little bit concerned about my host. However, Cavernd d'Ali Baba was the right decision. The staff was what I liked most. They were super nice to us in everything. Our triple bedroom was very clean and they cleaned it every morning. Location is great and everything is close by. Breakfast: what I can say, this is espectacular. You will enjoy it. I am sure that when I return to Esaouira, I will come back to this hostal again.

The people running the place were very kind and welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. The location is also beautiful and feet central.

These are only small negatives. Our room was made up every day (apart from the beginning but I think this was something to do with Eid) but it would have been nice to have fresh bedding as we were there for 10 nights. We had towels replaced daily though. The breakfast was really nice and traditional. It would have been nice to have a little variety though. Sometimes we were given fruit but more fruit would have been nice or some yoghurt etc.

The location was excellent. Right in the medina and a short walk from the beach. There are modern coffee shops and traditional restaurants right on the doorstep. The room was lovely and had a window which was nice (some of the rooms in the riad do not). The host and other staff were always available, helpful and polite. The breakfast was generous and kept us filled for the day.
