It can be a little noisy with traffic/renovations/ other outside noise.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our view was amazing!

Email before saying that vaccination certificates were required or room would be cancelled on arrival and that breakfast would not be served during Ramadan. Both untrue!

The hotel is situated high up on a cliff ledge which requires six flights of stairs or a steep switchback lane to reach. There is cab access however they are reluctant to take it because it is extremely narrow and damage to the cabs is a very real concern. Once you get there however, the views, the friendliness of the staff and the spectacular surroundings make the climb worthwhile.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged for a personal guided car tour that was exceptional. We saw parts of Tangier that we would never have seen otherwise. The guide took us to his favorite restaurant for lunch which was utterly delicious and very reasonable. The hotel is right at the Medina which we explored at length. The tile work inside the hotel, particularly in the cafe area was astounding.

The card payment device was not working, the room was dated, the plugs were inconveniently placed, and the toiled was positioned very inconveniently as it gave very little space for your legs, even though there was plenty of space to position it comfortably in the first place. The information on parking options is contradictory on Booking.com - in the description it mentions there is a free private hotel parking available (not the case) and in the list of facilities it says parking is available in the neighboring streets. Paid parking is actually available close by but bear in mind that then you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs.

Parts of the hotel were very nicely decorated (dining area), good location, nice views from the cafe terrace

Hotel is on a high hill and requires a lot of walking up as taxis can’t drive to the main entrance. Very noisy at night due to street view. Breakfast could have more of a variety as I was there for a week and it was the same breakfast everyday.

Location is good with lovely view of the beach. Staff were very lovely and friendly. Breakfast was good but limited options

On this occasion we found that not having a lift was a problem for us. To be fair, I think we knew this before we booked.

It's a wonderful place with an excellent location. The building is beautiful and quirky. We only stayed one night, which was very convenient for the ferry. The staff were very calm and kind to us after some previous bad travelling experience. We enjoyed our evening meal very much.

We didn't like so much the stairs to go to reception and to our room because we where very tired and with our luggage, but it was not a problem for us.

We only stayed overnight since we arrived very late due to flight issues. We arrived after 23:00 and the staff was very kind when we contacted them about our delay. We had NO issues with WiFi. Hot water available and the beds where comfy. In the morning we had breakfast at the terrace the waterfront. We asked at reception where to exchange currency and we were told to go to the Medina, which is conveniently very near. Loved the decor of this amazing hotel.

parking problem, 10min walk and paying, hotel have no parking, restaurant staff (breakfast) a bit rude, breakfast was between 7:30 until 10:30 if you arrive at 9:30 there will be no sausages not Moroccan crepes, the waiter told me to wake up earlier (disrespectful)… room not super isolated and no soundproof, feels like roofless room…

The shower had a few mechanical challenges. There is no lift, though a genuine bellhop will carry your bags up the stairs for you. The hotel is on the top of a hill and there are plenty of steps to get to the entrance. (I didn't arrive by car so I don't know if there's a driveway at lobby level hidden somewhere.) If you're expecting modernity like digital keys and printed room receipts or email, you're in the wrong country. I had specified a view overlooking the harbor if possible, but I also booked at the last minute - literally on the ferry over from Tarifa - so I can't complain about them not achieving it given their busy occupancy rate.

The location is incredible and I'm sure the harbor views from rooms that people paid more for or booked earlier was great. The morning-sun view on the open, shaded breakfast patio was wonderful. The breakfast was adequate although it's obvious that they cater to Brits, but it's free/included in the low-season, under-$40 room rate so quit complaining. The Call to Prayer echoing through the alley my room windows opened over was hauntingly beautiful. The room was simple, but clean enough. The access to the hotel from where the taxi drops you off is by many stairs. A bit of a slog with bags.

The location was on the very edge of the Medina and had a lovely view over the waterfront. The terrace is a wonderful place for coffee, easy to get town and the ferry.

We were not lucky to receive rooms facing the ocean, but to not so nice looking buildings behind. Also the furniture is outdated, the bathrooms as well. Overall, despite the fact that the hotel is a true architectural moroccan jewel the owners are not investing any of the profits back in the business and this is a pity.

Awesome location, right in Ancient Medina, a lovely terrace facing the Ocean, charming architecture "museum like", tasty breakfast, good proximity to traditional shops, restaurants, fish market and farmers market
