The view was amazing. The room was clean and warm with lovely decorations. I really appreciate that the bathroom had a hair dryer. The owner was very nice and the breakfast delicious. It was few minutes from waterfall which were spectacular. Fully recommended:)

We first booked a room for 2 nights and ended up staying for a whole week! Our experience has been exceptional, the accommodation is impeccable and tastefully decorated, the food delicious, the view absolutely stunning and the hosts, Said Myriam and their three daughters have offered us a very warm welcome and flawless service. The best asset of Dar Aya is its location, within walking distance from the falls and yet in a quiet part of Ouzoud from which you can easily access some beautiful hikes : to the berber village, the caves, the source and great spots of the river to go for a swim :) Just a few minutes away from Dar Aya you will be able to enjoy the most spectacular view of the falls and surrounding mountains, and all that without any tourists ! We will definitely come back ! (if you are interested in geology and dinosaurs we also highly recommend visiting the Azilal museum)

The mattress could be improved and they need to make sure the pillows from the smoking rooms and the pillows from the non-smoking rooms don't get mixed up.

The family that runs it is very hospitable and sweet. They took care of us and made sure we were taken care of. The rooms were big and well appointed. The "tent" on top of the bed and the lanterns were specially a nice touch. One of the most quiet rooms we have had in Morocco. Private parking, and great and genouous breakfast. 10 minute walk from the falls and greatly located on a cliff with nice views. Great shower.

Shower holder was broken which made it more difficult to shower. Sink was also difficult to use without water spilling over.

Wonderful and welcoming hosts, they cooked us an amazing dinner. Breakfast was lovely as well. Very charming decor and the bedroom & bathroom was very clean! Great location as well. Exceptional value!

Everything was great!

We loved everything - the whole place is beautiful (interior design) , rooms are spacious and very comfortable, shower has hot water and is the most convenient one we had in Marocco! Location is perfect for trekking to the waterfall, owner super friendly. Breakfast was typical as in most places here (boiled eggs, bread, pancake & jams) , enough not be hungry in the morning.

Dar Aya is a beautiful house, located a mere 10-15 minutes away from the waterfalls. The house has beautiful views on the valley and the hills. The host always has a smile on his face and is one of the nicest people we met on our trip. The breakfast was very good. We also ordered dinner and it was great as well.

A comfortable, high class diafa home in addition to the more than wonderful reception, Mr. Saeed received us with the best reception and welcomed us graciously, the room was very clean and very good value for the money. The bed is very firm which will be fine for many people. We prefer something softer.

Safe convenient parking. Friendly host. Excellent water pressure and temperature in the shower. Easy walk to Ouzoud Cascades, but far enough to be quiet. The very large sitting room shared by 3 other rooms was excellent extra space to relax. Cool breezes from the mountain kept the room a nice temperature so we did not need the air con.

at night there might be small little flies. You can ask for a bug spray to the receptionist.

The hotel is located at an elevation giving a perfect view of the valley. You can enjoy a perfect sunset from the terrace of the hotel while living in a well-built yet traditionally Amazigh-style hotel. It has all the facilities to make the stay comfortable yet it gives a cultural and traditional humble vibe.

Dar Aya is in a great location - just outside of the Cascades d'Ouzoud tourist frenzy yet within walking distance to falls. It is a beautifully appointed hotel and room (for that reason alone it would have been great to stay longer) with screens on its windows (cool air, no flies), a separate shower stall in the bathroom (no water all over bathroom/bathroom floor), lovely terraces, and secure onsite parking. Host is warm and friendly.

Unfortunately, they don't inform about the fact the food is not free and the only meal included in price is breakfast. We wanted to pay for the food anyway but I think it should be clear that you need to pay for food instead of pretending that it's just hospitality.

The best food in Marroco that we tried. Owners are really helpful and they really care about the comfort. The views from the room are breathtaking.
