The Riad was clean, calm, cool and comfortable. There was a serenity about the place that was hard to describe. Adil was part of that serenity. Calm, caring and reassuring for two women travelling alone.

I would have liked traditional moroccan tea for breakfast instead of just ordinary teabag.

My room was amazing. Kettle with herbal teabags in the room, perfect for bedtime. Nice view from rooftop. Pretty riad. Very near a trafficked road so good for transfers etc

The concept of staying in a Riad was new for me and I think one should experience it . Though it was in the middle of the old town it had complete silence and you wouldn't hear any noise what so ever . The roof top balcony was very charming .

It was a little hard to find the riad, however Adil helped us, which made it a lot easier.

The room was very nice and clean, with air conditioner. Adil was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay in this riad and would recommend it to everyone who will be staying in Marrakech.

Adil was very attentive. One night we stayed out until after midnight. We didn't tell him that we would be late. When the taxi dripped us off at the usual location near the Riad he was there waiting for us. It was 30 minutes past midnight.

- Breakfast was disappointing compared to other breakfasts we have had in Morocco. (Coffee is cold and other things were lack lustre.) That’s the only negative.

Mister Adil was excellent to us. We fell comfortable and safe, he was really helpful to everything. The location was 15 minutes far away from the centre, you have to be really careful if you are by yourself. We recommend the accommodation 100%. Thank you for everything!!!

It’s in the old Medina and a bit tricky to find at first, but once you locate the tiny door in that dark narrow street, what you will find inside is beautiful, spacious, exceedingly charming, and comfortable.

I spent 3 nights at Riad Dar Balthazar with a friend and it was a delightful experience. The riad is a beautiful oasis within the Medina of Marrakech. The location is just perfect to visit some of the main touristic attractions (Jeema el Fna square, the zouk, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, etc.), all of them easy to reach by a short walk from the hotel. There are only 5 rooms distributed around a beautiful courtyard, spacious and nicely decorated, fitting comfortable beds and tea supplies. This riad is a quiet, peaceful and lovely place to stay while exploring Marrakech. One of the most amazing areas of the riad is the rooftop, where we enjoyed a delicious fresh breakfast every morning. I'd like to thank Adil for his attentions and valuable help. He kindly organised a guided tour for us, the return transfers (airport-hotel-airport), and gave us great recommendations about places to visit in Morocco. Merci bien Adil !! :) À très bientôt !

Everything exceeded our expectations, the staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay, even in the middle of the night. The location was also quite strategic, just a few minutes walk from the Medina and the Secret Garden. Definitely recommended!

FYI they only take cash (euros or Dirhams) - you pay when you get to the property. The bathroom lighting was quite dark and the sinks/showers drained a little bit slowly, but never backed up.

This riad is beautiful! The owners of the riad were so welcoming and accommodating - it seemed to be family run. The riad is located on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Marrakech, initially a little hard to find the path on google maps. However, it is an easy to walk to everywhere in Marrakech in less than 15-25 minutes. Our (twin) room was cleaned every day and was fairly spacious. They served a lovely authentic Moroccan breakfast every morning on the rooftop. They also arranged a 5am private transfer to the train station for our us for 20 euros (relatively expensive, but reasonable given the time of day, otherwise we would have taken a taxi on our own from a nearby taxi stand).
