This is a woman owned (Ms. Anna) property run by a talented, multi-lingual staff who really care about maintaining this small but lovely house and making sure customers are happy. We didn't stay long, because it was not beach season, and the Asilah Medina is very small, but we appreciated the attention and service we recieved while there.

The place is perfectly located in the heart of the ancient Medina of Assilah. We appreciated a lot the amazing terrace on the rooftop where we spent a relaxing evening. I recommend it and I hope to come back in the future.

Every thing was great. The rooms are simple but comfortable.There was nothing to not like at all.

The owner was above kind and bought an item that I left behind to me at the station.The riad was immaculate and the coffee wonderful. I only had one night but I enjoyed the riad immensely

Mattress should be regularly turned to avoid uneven usage, easy to remedy. Breakfast could be of better variety and selection.

Considering the type and age of the building, it has to be said, well-designed and practical room lay out. Nicely decorated and comfortable room. Bathroom simple but well equipped and well functional.

I loved everything about it!

Stepping into Dar Menara is like stepping into a calming oasis. This Riad is stunning down to the fine details- the tiles, fabrics, decor, music, everything. Ana is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need. The Riad is centrally located in the Medina, meaning you can easily come back and just enjoy your room or the rooftop balcony throughout the day. Highly, highly recommend!

nothing, we liked everything

Everything was great, we really couldn’t be more happier with our choice in Asilah. The location, the staff, the breakfast, everything. The room looked very small in the beginning but it really had everything we needed, very convenient and functional. a/c worked very well, the bed, the bathroom, all was clean and fresh. Young lady greeted us upon arrival and was extremely polite and friendly. She explained where to park our car, it was very close and safe location. Said was amazing, very helpful and friendly. I don’t remember the name of the staff member who prepared us a tea on a terrace in the evening but he was so helpful too. The breakfast was very good and fulfilling, beautifully served. We highly recommend this Riad to everyone who comes to Asilah. Great value for the money!

The Riad was perfect and in a great location in the Asilah Medina, it was an oasis of tranquility. The staff were super friendly and helpful, our room was lovely and very comfortable and we particularly loved the roof terrace and the water feature in the internal courtyard. The calming music was also very nice at bedtime! Would definitely stay again next time in Morocco and will recommend to our friends.

Charming Riad located in the heart of the old part of town, Said the manager became like a friend by the end of our stay, very accommodating, helpful and kind, the room is clean with efficient plumbing :-), I would highly recommend staying at Dar Manara.

Breakfast was excellent, variety and alot of effort was made to make our stay precious . We will definitely come back. The manager was very generous and made us feel really at home. They deal with problems in the most professional way and keep you feeling content and relaxed. The cleaner was friendly and evenn brought me flowers to my room

The room was not soundproof, as advertized, and had a foul damp smell. Breakfast was basic, with an overemphasis on bread, but adequate and promptly served. The looping, four-note sound effect playing in the lobby throughout the day was a bit irritating.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the decor is lovely, and the rooftop terrace is nice. The air conditioning was pleasantly cool, and shower had good pressure. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The interior fountain was a good feature.

- the bed and pillows are uncomfortable. - you hear your neighbors showering or going to the toilets (it woke me up, the sound of the plumbing is very loud) - cockroach

The location of the Riad is perfect, inside the old medina in a wonderful sweet street. Inside, the is a beautiful living room and upstairs a good Terasse.
