We were a single couple so lots of children on school holidays were a bit noisy.

Staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. The garden and pool area is exceptional. This is a large villa 10 mins drive outside the medina in an upmarket neighbourhood. Great location 5 mins taxi to/from Marrakech central train or supratours intercity bus station for travelling to Essouaria, Agadir etc.

It is in a residential area away from the center. Takes 15-20 minutes to town. If you don't plan exactly the time you wish to leave, it will take 30min for a cab to arrive. But in the hotel they have trusted drivers, so boon a time and they will be there

Great house, with very comfortable rooms. The people running it are VERY friendly and doing their best 24h to make your stay as cozy as possible. You will definitely make yourself at home. We had the apartment, which is HUGE for 6 people. We could live in it :)

Request a room overlooking garden/pool as slightly quieter - as other side has a local road. V minor point though.

Amazing stay at the Dar Oloudna for two nights on arrival at Marrakesh. All the staff were wonderful - Amin, Houssaine and others. It gave us everything we wanted: space, fresh air and peace and quiet away from the hectic city centre. It is a 10min drive from central market square, but this is not a problem as they provide very cheap lifts in and out of the centre. Good for families and couples, a little oasis of calm with beautiful garden and setting to return to after dusty noisey day in the centre.

This hotel made us feel like we were staying in our own private villa. The staff arranged transport into town for a small charge whenever we wanted( about a 15min ride but don't be put off by that) They booked a hammam for two of our group, when they returned they said it was fabulous. Breakfast is a chilled out affair any time from 8am,yoghurt, cake, pancakes etc. Bedroom was great for the 4 of us with comfy beds, crisp white bedding and plenty of hot water. We just loved staying here.

The hotel is not a hotel. more kind of b&b. We were the only guests so it's hard to get a 'hotelfeeling'. It's like renting a house....The hotel is in the middle of a dark deserted residential area. No shops, no restaurants, nothing. Kind of spooky. Railway and busy road in front. You really depend on the driver to get somewhere. The shower had no pressure. Almost impossible to use. The bathroom had a glass for your toothbrush that was very dirty. No wifi on the last day. Breakfast ok but lacked fruits and eggs.

The staff was extremely friendly. Hussein, the chauffeur was always available to bring us everywhere in Marrakech. Very important since the hotel is far away from the city. The Swimming pool, garden and decoration very tasteful.

Food is not amazing. Might be amazing for a European tourist (except perhaps French) but not satisfactory for Moroccans. "Crepes" are not fresh and could find better than Nutella and Vache qui rit. Location is lost and the guy in charge of the hotel charges you all travel transfers including when you are lost and not very far from the hotel without letting you know Price you have to pay is a surprise at the end - they play with an excessive currency rate to charge you the maximum fee

Very clean. Much attention given (free sun cream, very calm hotel) Driver is friendly and makes you feel welcome.

No kitchen really. Only a microwave. Dark room in basement. Lots of bugs in apartment including huge spiders. Air conditioning was turned off during day when we were gone. Kitchen empty. Not a single thing in cupboards but we were given 4 cups, plates and cutlery. Water is expensive here. Shower takes forever to heat up. Nothing to see outside of riad whatsoever.

Morad and Hussain (I hope I spelled their names right!) are wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting these two young men and spent 4 lovely nights at this riad. We stayed in the big apartment in the basement and probably wouldn't recommend that particular apartment. You are probs better off getting a room without a kitchen as the kitchen had no stove, hob or kitchen stuff whatsoever. You get a microwave, a small (very small) fridge and maybe a kettle. Just go for a proper room instead as then you aren't in the dark basement. The Riad is lovely, the pool is great and big. Eating in the garden is magic. The food was nice and the hosts lovely. We spent 4 nights here and 4 nights at an all inclusive and it was a very good mix. Highly recommend this riad. By the way, the hosts do not speak English - only French! We were there during Ramadan and it was no problem to work around their breaking of fast. Be considerate of their needs at this time and all will be great :). It was not a problem to get kid's meals served early (pizza etc) and our own meals after 8:30 pm. Breakfast is lovely but repetitive. Gorgeous place and Hussain will drive you around and pick you up no prob (5 euro each way). 30 euro to be picked up and returned to airport. Please feed the little kitty who comes around :). My kids loved it here as had pool to themselves!

No bad experience at all - but when we arrived our toilet was leaking (plumbing issues are somewhat normal in this part of the world). The staff immediately sent someone to fix it while we lounged at the pool and they gave us a free bowl of fruit salad. There were no further problems!

This is a lovely villa in a residential area of the new city - but only a 15 minute drive to the old medina. We were greeted with mint tea and biscuits and given all the information we would need. The villa is beautiful with a lovely garden out back and a refreshing pool. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, heartily recommend it and look forward to going back some day!!
