That we only stayed four nights!

From the moment we got there, Samir was truly a standout, with his big smile and helpful manner. In fact, the entire experience at Dar Sohane was exceptional. From the moment we stepped in the door we were whisked away to a different, storybook world. The breakfast was as tasteful as it was tasty. The room was large and very well appointed. The bath and shower experience was the best we’ve had in over a month of travel. All in all, this was the nicest hotel we stayed in over six weeks. We would definitely recommend Dar Sohane to anyone interested in a beautiful, unforgettable experience!

Maybe because it was high season for holidays on Europe price was high, terrace was not really ready for enjoy it.

Everything was superb!

Samir was such a gracious and kind host, showing us true Moroccan hospitality from the moment we arrived to the day we departed. He recommended activities, places to see and eat, and always had a smile for us. The staff even baked my partner a birthday cake because we mentioned in passing that it was his birthday! As for the riad, it is just as beautiful as depicted in the pictures. It's a quiet and calm oasis from the hustle of Marrakech streets, and we enjoyed some warm sunny days reading on the rooftop terrace. Minor tip to first time visitors, if you're not confident navigating busy narrow alleys, it's worth asking Samir to arrange private transport from the airport, as taxis can't drop you on the doorstep of the riad. In all, syukran to the staff of Dar Sohane for a wonderful stay!

Everything was fine!

The receptionist has been super kind, always with his gentle smile. We have appreciated how he took care of all our requests. Breakfast is fine, location good, very close to Djeema El Fna. The room with the fireplace is very nice. I definitely suggest the Riad !!

A classic riad close to the heart of Marrakech Medina. Host Samir was very friendly and welcoming. Interiors are exactly as they are on photos, room had a sitting area and all bedded set provisions, unless you’d want to spend time on roof terrace - which was also nice, even in winter. Very happy with our choice.

A hidden gem very close to the square. Super friendly crew. Amazing breakfast. The room was huge and full of Moroccan beauty. So peaceful, cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you for such a lovely stay x

This Riad is NOT well signposted. You will definitely need help finding it, however it's in a perfectly safe area. Suggestion: Riads in Morocco should provide a bottle of drinking water for each guest, each day.

Beautiful riad in the centre of the old town. Great value for money. The staff were amazing and super helpful, I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Marrakesh. It was quite difficult for us to find it, but we called the host and followed his instructions, which I deffo recommend doing ☺️

Samir and all staff was really nice, they can help you with almost everything you need. The riad is in the center, really close to all the places you wanna go, a lot of restaurants near by and the best street food is also close. All the markets are 5 min walking. Good breakfast, comfortable, super clean. 5 star ⭐️

The bathroom was a bit smelling but what could one expect in such an old building.

It's a lovely small riad perfectly located near the main street. Staff are very friendly and especially Kibir makes the stay outstanding. He's very welcoming and supporting that you feel at home the moment you enter the riad.

One tiny little improvement would be to serve fresh juice for breakfast.

Dar Sohane is a beautiful small Riad very close to the big square. I loved everything about the place. Samir and his colleagues are amazing, welcoming and wonderful. Samir is a great host, always trying to give you the best experience. I would definitely stay there again.
