Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainWe were told before going through booking chat that breakfast starts at 8am but it was from 8.30am so we missed them and had to buy food everyday as normally the excursions start earlier (and we paid for breakfast included). We had nice and quiet neighbors in the other rooms but still you can hear everything from your bed. If you normally have problems with noises, I recommend to come soundproof prepared! (You can hear morning praying, street cats etc, but is also the enchanting part of the local experience!)
Almost everyone from the staff has been exceptional! We had our excursions very early in the morning so the young man from the kitchen staff one day prepared a quick “take away” meal for us few minutes before leaving. First night, the youngest man from the reception, came to pick us up from the taxi drop point as we were 2 girls alone at midnight. And the woman last day helped us to print our flight boarding passes at the last minute! Very thankful that we had all of them during our stay! The riad has also a beautiful rooftop and a very delicious breakfast! Room was very nice and lovely decoration, very clean and well equipped with all basic necessities.

United KingdomRoom was tricky to access with the door not fully opening due to the bed being in the way. We were travelling with rucksacks which were tricky to get through the door. Breakfast was quite small compared to all other hotels on our trip. Two pieces of cake and three small crumpets between two. No fresh orange. No tea. Just sweetened coffee.
Location excellent. Nicely kept riad very close to the main square. Very very helpful staff. Lovely cat also lives in the hotel. Staff allowed us to take breakfast early at 8, rather than 8.30, so we could eat before our flight. Great hot shower.

Amazing location only 3mins walk to the main square. All the main sights are within walking distance of the accommodation. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and willing to help with anything and everything. They helped me set up my local sim card in my phone and with directions to places we wanted to visit. They also recommended the best places to eat authentic tagine and where we could buy fresh fruit! As well as help with where to buy souvenirs from and the costs (so that we do not get ripped off - so kind!) We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much Chakir and Khadija for making our stay with my Mum so lovely, we were both very happy with everything and you both provided us with such a warm welcome!! Breakfast was lovely and the room was cosy too!

BelgiumStayed at Riad l’heure d’été for one night and it was a nice experience. Breakfast was the standard Moroccan version, of course and nothing beat the experience of having it on the rooftop, coupled with fantastic weather! I should add that it’s easily accessible from the main roads and there are helpful guides on the way if you get confused at any point (easier to ask for directions to the street than the riad itself). The riad seemed safe with 360• video surveillance and even though I checked in super late (almost midnight), the process of confirming my booking was smooth and quick! Important things to note: rooms were clean, cooling system worked perfectly and despite the small size of the rooms, it still didn’t feel cramped.

1st visit to Morocco and what an amazing welcome. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. They gave us tea on arrival and also a map and told us places to visit. When we were unsure where a meeting point was they took us to it. The Riad was beautiful, traditional and fab air con. A lovely roof garden where we are breakfast and also used the jacuzzi after a full day of sight seeing. Perfect location, peaceful but only a 5 minute walk from the main square. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again.

United KingdomIt was tricky to find as it was on the heart of the old city.
The staff were really kind and extremely helpful giving us great recommendations of places to go and how to find them. They booked us at a fabulous jazz bar restaurant straight out of Casablanca the old film! I had a fantastic massage and it was in a lovely setting with candles and relaxing music and very reasonably priced. The roof terrace was charming with a lovely Morrocan breakfast served each morning. The jacuzzi was great to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. We felt it was a very authentic experience and located right in the heart of all the famous sights.
