Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaAll good.
The location is incredible and staying inside the ksar feels very unique. The building and its furnishings have so much character and make the stay really memorable. Wake early and head up the hill before sunrise and the view over the ksar is very special. Book a balcony or rooftop room if available.

GermanyThe property is beautiful and unique, with walls that breathe history. The family did a wonderful job renovating it with great care to preserve the look and feel of the past. The candlelight adds a special atmosphere. The candle lighting, the off-grid feel, and the limited Wi-Fi give this stay another level of charm. Still, all the modern conveniences are available for those who need them. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise over the city.

ItalyIncredibly stunning. Walking through the Kasbah, its rooms, courtyards, patios, terraces was amazing. We came late in the night and we crossed the river in the dark, quite an adventure but very doable. When you reach the old town of Ait Ben Haddou, the Kasbah is the first building on your way, so it is very easy to find. The atmosphere in the evening, when everything is lit just by candles, is by itself worth the stay. Absolutely recommended!

United KingdomMohammed the driver was a great guy who met us at the riad where we were staying in Marrakesh and drove us over the Atlas mountains, an incredible journey with several stops along the way to admire the views and visit places of interest. He was an excellent driver and I always felt that we were in safe hands despite the twisty roads and precipitous drops, The Kasbah itself is like nowhere I've ever stayed before, authentically maintained and yet comfortable, with amazing views from the roof terrace. We were welcomed by Mohammed the owner who was also lovely. Food in the restaurant was good, with great atmosphere thanks to the candlelight, and we were entertained by traditional musicians for a relatively small extra cost. The next day we spent a few hours in the morning exploring the settlement before being taken on another fascinating tour of the area by Mohammed who then dropped us off at our next accommodation in Skoura. All in all it was a really wonderful experience and I feel privileged to have visited such an unusual place.

Kasbah Tebi is true magic - like traveling back in time. The room was absolutely beautiful, it had all modern facilities you need (including hot shower and lamps from solar energy), but decorated to blend into this centuries old Kasbah. The place is quiet, peaceful and romantic. Since there is no electricity the rooms are lit by candles in the evening, which gives you a sense of harmony and adds to the beauty and warm atmosphere of the place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always there to help when needed. The breakfast was lovely, and the optional dinner was delicious. The location is perfect, with the old village at your doorstep. This also makes it easier for you to enjoy Ait-ben-Haddou when the day tripping crowds have left. In the night, the terrace was perfect for enjoying the starry sky. Staying in Kasbah Tebi was a very special experience that will stay with me in heart and mind for a long time.

United StatesThis was a very unique Kasbah with candles as the only light source in the rooms, very romantic. The decor was very impressive as was the entire village. Our host was incredibly accommodating picking us up in Imlil and driving us to his Kasbah and then to Dades Gorge upon our departure, very nice guy!

CanadaThere was no electricity in the rooms, which is part of the charm, but it may be a bit inconvenient for some travellers.
Staying at Kasbah Tebi was a truly unique experience—it felt like stepping back in time. The traditional setting and ambiance were incredibly special. I especially loved the candlelit decor at night—it gave the place such a warm, magical atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and dinner was delicious.

United KingdomWe did have a problem with dinner. If you don’t let them know in advance that you want to dine at the hotel, you might end up without dinner. We informed them at 4pm. We arrived on the last day of Ramadan, and all nearby restaurants and shops were closed. But our hotel didn't provide us with any food. After a long journey to Ait Benhaddou, we were exhausted and very hungry. Unfortunately, the hotel couldn’t find a solution for us. But aside from that, everything else was perfect. A small tip for travellers: be careful with dogs in this area. They can be aggressive. Try not to walk alone far from the hotel
Truly something special – the best thing that happened to us during our entire trip to Morocco. A wonderful hotel, beautifully lit by candlelight in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful

United StatesThere was nothing about Kasbah Tebi that I did not like.
What an experience! We were able to stay in a centuries, old Riad, fully renovated with modern facilities, but thoughtfully decorated to give the sense that we were transported back in time. The candlelight added everything. Along with being a beautiful setting the staff were exceptional. The owner himself provided transfers/guides tour from Imlil and the next day on to Dades Gorge . He provided so much historical and cultural information. I can’t say enough about Kasbah Tebi. I would highly recommend it if you get the chance to stay here.

RomaniaAccess was a bit hard (dedicated entrance not very obvious from the river). Parking could have been organized by the hotel (as the parking guy is forcing guests to leave him extra tips - the parking was 20 dirham, we gave him 50, he smiled and said thank you indicating that he won't give us change).
Wonderful and authentic experience - dinner and shower by candlelight. Old cosy place, 400 years old yet with modern amenities, always-available hot water etc Welcoming hosts. Nice breakfast. Right inside (part of) the old 'town'.

Kasbah Tebi is a incredible and well cared for authentic Kasbah. I loved the location right in the unesco site of Ait Ben Haddou, waking up early and walking though the village before the day tourists arrive is a real treat. Staying at Kasbah Tebi for 2 nights has been one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco, the family were so welcoming and the candle lit dinner a real treat .

United KingdomThe rooms are fantastic with a lot of character. The ability to light candles makes it even more magical! I would recommend anybody to stay here for that reason alone however there is more the hotel is located in the old part of the town where you get to see from the rooftop both a place where gladiator and games of thrones was filmed. The staff are friendly and helpful. They will help you organise trips as well as activities such as horse riding. I am more than impressed with this place and the people working here.

PolandMy stay in Kasbah Tebi was mesmerizing- I had a single room with a direct access to the roof deck. I was able to admire both sunset and sunrise directly from it. View is simply unforgettable - river, horses, and kasbah. Place was very clean, quiet. Staff was very attentive and supportive - they give advice on how it is best to visit them. I had a kindle light dinner, which was a wonderful experience. I warmly recommend staying at Kasbah Tebi - for one night, you can experience something magic.
