Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSlightly further away from city so it was always a taxi journey to get in but the quality of the hotel made up for this!
Relaxed atmosphere, exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. Hotel beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches.

United KingdomAlthough there is a large swimming pool the piped music is awful. Because the area is built around an olive grove the birdsong is beautiful and it would be much nicer and more relaxing to listen to the incredible variety of birds than the background music on a loop. The area around the hotel is very off-putting - acres of building site under development, so not an area to walk around.
The hotel is a contemporary kasbah in the style of the Marrakesh kasbah. It is very spacious and a lovely retreat from the city. The place is beautifully lit at night. There is an efficient taxi shuttle service which takes guests to and from the city.

United KingdomWe had a private pool it was great but we couldn’t use it as it was dirty. The dining area needs a good interior designer as it’s a little drab. The courtyard area needs a little more colour to make it vibrantly Moroccan. A good interior designer and garden designer could massively impact this hotel and take up to another level.
The rooms were beautiful and the staff were really helpful and polite

United KingdomThere was a lot of rubbish in the old olive grove between the hotel and the road. This really detracted from an otherwise really peaceful location with lots of birdsong. There weren't many choices for dinner at the restaurant and everything closes at 9pm, but I recommend the Couscous Royale.
Wonderful pool which was gently heated. It was a great place for R&R after the craziness of the Medina. They were very helpful with booking grande taxis to the station, airport, etc, and also shuttles to the Medina (15-20 mins). Other properties charge more than they should, so I thought it was very honest. Drinks were reasonable for Marrakech. It was lovely to be serenaded by birdsong. We did have a problem with our bed, but if you tell them they will sort everything out with no problems. There are reasonably priced lunch options at the pool bar.

Italycleanliness of the facilities is not fantastic. A bit more attention to the food, specially for breakfast would be appreciated. Maybe just covering the jams and food with a cover would avoid the wasp interaction.
the pools, the room, staff and atmosphere is absolutely great! Location wise is outside the city, but that's what we were looking for. Also the transfer service works perfectly. expectations met!

GermanyStaff not always attentive and thorough. I couldn’t believe I reserved massage 3 weeks in advance for 03 May and each time Reception got it wrong and confirmed for 2nd May. I had to correct more than three times. On day of arrival, 2 May, I decided to check with wellness centre & was informed I was booked for 02 May. What a disaster! Extremely highly priced food and drinks. Dinner menu very limited. Breakfast was not according to the standard I expected of such a Riad, very disappointing! Grounds for relaxation can do with umbrellas / parasols , and more benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings. For such big rooms, why not locate sink in the shower area rather than outside?
Riad + grounds was nice and comfortable.

GermanyThe distance from the city, it’s far from my point of view. But lot of good resorts such as this one are outside the city so it’s one’s choice. But at times it gets bit tiring to take a taxi everyday to go to city, if you want to do something or go visit attractions. Secondly, if you decide to spend you’re day in the resort or hotel (however you call it), the options for lunch and dinner is just the restaurant inside the place, we hardly found anything close by. We stayed a week and we wanted something different to try but we’re lazy to go all the way to city center and we ventured to find something but we weren’t so successful. We found a really good snack bar, which was nice. Apart from it taxi service from the place to city centers takes around 12€ on an average for two people (to go and to return) and this service is usually offered by hotel and it’s good because it’s cheaper than what you get outside and you don’t have to negotiate. Don’t get me wrong taxi drivers of the hotel were really good.
it’s outside the city so it’s an advantage and disadvantage at the same time. advantage because at the end of the day you return to a very peaceful and beautiful resort with a pool, small bar and restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and understanding. The breakfast was good. The dinner and lunch were also very decent but pit pricey for Marrakesh. Its well equipped with basic amenities (pool, Hammam Spa, small restaurant, laundry service, very quick hotel taxi service).

United Kingdom-I went in december and the swimming pool was too cold to swim inside even though it was 19 degrees during the day. Pool heating would definately be needed. -adding kettles in the rooms with tea cups would add a nice touch.
The design of the complex is absolutely stunning. It feels very safe to walk around. I went with two kids and they loved walking in the hotel grounds. The cleaning staff and workers were very helpfull and they responded to all of my queries and needs. The hotel is a bit far out from the centre however the hotel service provides a great drop off taxi service.
