Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LithuaniaThe room was smaller than expected. The bed is wide but short ( 180x160cm) Mold was on the bathroom ceiling. In our room wifi was working very bad. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours.
The manager!! He helped us a lot. He printed our tickets for the flight ( Moroccoo airport accepts JUST paper tickets), booked us a taxi at 3 in the morning and lead us to the driver. You can have dinner at this guest house for extra cost. It was delicious. Breakfast was included. They can arrange a trip to Volubilis, or the blue city, also hammam ( their tradicional spa) They accept euros. The terrace was amazing, with the view of the city. Guest house is near one of Medina entrances. A/C was in the room. They have an indoor swimming pool ( that we didn't use, but it is open for guests)

BelgiumWe were so impressed when we entered the riad. Our room overlooked the indoor patio. The bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The stairs to get to our room were a bit of a challenge though :). Ayoub really welcomed us and gave us some information about Fes and the things to do while we were staying here. The breakfast was very nice.

United Kingdomsome leak near the entrance which I am sure will be addrssed.
wifi was free. Aziz was our host/ manager at hotel. Communication with hotel before arrival was great. Hotel arranged a taxi to pick 4 of us from station for 100 MDH. Aziz gave us very personalised care. picked us from taxi stand, showed us local kebab shop as we reached late first night. We had to leave early next morning for our visit to Chefchaun , he had packed breakfast ready for 4 of us. Next day we had local fresh breakfast made by ladies with traditional mint tea and coffee. Hotel was full of mosaic tiles and features all around, an experience in itself unlike your other 4 /5 star hotels. I expressed to aziz at breakfast that I liked the Corn bread , Guess what, on our departure a small pack of bread was ready for us to take. Felt like home indeed. Many thanks Aziz, Fatima and other two ladies who were working in kitchen.

MexicoThe room was a bit humid and the heater didn't work, since it was cold during our stay it wasn't the best place to spend the night.
The place was located within the Medina in Fez, it is a nice place to stay if you want to walk around in the old city. It is more difficult to go out at night or so.

FranceIf I need to point out something, it's that the riad is not super close to the more tourist area with bars and restaurants (for night activities). However it it right next to the medina so during the day was very helpful.
Ayoub was super helpful and always there if we needed something. He made us feel like home. Also breakfast were amazing, the best way to start the day!

TurkeyInside the property the staircase is very steep so if you have any problems with climbing up the staircases, it might not be the one for you. Also the rooms have the room for improvement in terms of aesthetics, but as i mentioned its great value for money.
This place has a good location and value for its price. Its located just at the end of the medina so both walking distance to the medina and also the main street where there is traffic. The staff is extremely helpful and always smiling, especially Eyup helped us a lot with our organization and requests, he was superb!

AustraliaAccomodation is located in a quieter / less touristy part of the Medina. As a solo female traveller I sometimes found it overwhelming - trying to navigate my way around the Medina while being approached and followed by men
Beautiful place! Very clean, comfortable room with lovely bed linen. Great to have use of the kitchen as I was able to make tea for myself when ever I wanted. Staff very helpful - helped with luggage when leaving, helped me get a taxi etc. Was very hot while I stayed so loved having a pool to cool off in.

We were definitly very happy with our accomodation choice in Fes. The Riad is run by a family with two brother always ready to make your stay as much as pleasent as possible. They will support you on any request you may have. The bulding is very well maintanined and has all the facilities to make you feel home. The room has air conditing making it easier to have a good sleep out of the strong heat. We also enjoyed a delicicios dinner at the Riad which was served rather late due to late flight arrival, very much appreciated!

NetherlandsThe riad is a very old, traditional house in the old medina, which is a great experience. The only down side is that it can be a little bit noisy. No deal breaker still.
