Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBreakfast was basic and good but would have liked more fruit options I would have loved a mini fridge in the room for cold drinks, but this would just be the icing on the cake.
Location was great right in the medina Beautiful and clean Quirky and much nicer than a generic hotel room The pool was amazing after a long day sighting seeing - it’s really a big hot tub so perfect for sore legs from lots of walking

United KingdomJust don’t let anyone from the streets help you/ talk to you as they will bug you and will require you to pay A LOT OF MONEY. And they will get mad at you if you dont give them money.
It was very clean, even the floor they always clean and mop and ALL the time. The pool was heated which was 100% better as my son enjoyed to swim a lot. The staff were great and helpful. Breakfast was AWESOME 😍💜💜💜💜

HungaryOne of the guys in the riad asked us many times if we want to book a trip/massage/dinner. We understand they try to sell additional things, but it is a bit awkward to deal with it every single day. I think it's enough to let the guests know once or twice about the opportunities, and if they want to book something, they will. Breakfast could have been better, and could include some proteins (boiled egg or some cheese). The wifi didn't work well in the room on the ground floor.
Great location, clean rooms and pretty terrace. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things that could be improved.

United KingdomFood options limited at the riad, so we ate out. No fresh mint tea, instead they had tea bags at breakfast.
Pool in the centre of first floor was very peaceful to sit next to. Served tea and snacks on arrival. Room was very cosy, fabulous shower, great location in centre of souks. Quiet area and easy to find although when we arrived a trolley guy led the way. Lovely breakfast food and on my boyfriend's birthday, the waiter brought over cake with candles in. Very sweet.

FranceWhile one of the room was nice and spacious the other one was not as comfortable. The first night one of the room had no hot water and the other had no heating (it gets very cold at night in December). The issues were solved quickly the next day.
Nice riad well located in the medina. Really good quality/price ratio.

HungaryThere was no such thing. Some other guests were leaving early or arriving late, they were often noisy and as the room Malek is dowstairs, we could hear them often talking loud.
It is.a fantastic riad. We had the room Malek with plenty of space. The airport pickup was easy and the driver handed us to a local man who was walking us to the riad's front door. Highly recommended to ask this service as if you are new to town, it is super hard to find the riad. It is at the side of the center, a great location, once you get a map and helpful directions from the staff of the riad, you can manage on your own. The noise of the town stays outside and the riad is a like a peaceful gem. We asked for the first dinner and used the hammam too one afternoon. Both fantastic. We used the heated pool too, not for swimming but chilling a bit after an exhausting day. Ahmed helped us with all we needed. Breakfast was nice too. The riad is spotlessly clean. We loved it.

New ZealandLes Jardins Mandaline was like an oasis of calm in Marrakech. It was in a wonderful location just inside the Medina, close to shopping and lovely eating spots. Inside, the riad was beautiful and relaxing with beautiful music playing, lovely areas for sitting in, a pool which was perfect to cool off in, and even a spa with options for massages which unfortunately we did not have time to make use of.

The staff Ahmed, Mohamed & Nadia whom we had most contact with were very friendly & helpful. The riad was clean & situated about 10-15 minutes walk to the square, well placed for restaurants & souks.

PhilippinesI would like to compliment the staff for accommodating us on very short notice (i.e., they allowed us to stay in the same room despite having new guests coming in), given that my partner got sick and we couldn't move out. The room was more than adequate, especially the bathroom, as we had more space than the other Riads we stayed in. The location is also easy to find - and it's a plus that it's a walkable distance to noteworthy places like the Square and Koutoubia, and that it's not in a noisy location.
