Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe rooms were a little more tired that in the photos. The second restaurant described on their website also wasn't open so the daily menu was limited (3 options for each course which didn't change between lunch and dinner). The welcome from the staff was limited so we were left quite unclear about the facilities, eating/drinking options etc.
We had a room overlooking the pool which was spacious and quiet and very nice. The food was excellent - some of the best on our trip - and the eating area was delightful. The pool space and loungers were lovely and so comfy, and we enjoyed all the facilities like petanque and tennis. I had a royal hammam while there which was pretty good. Following the earthquake (which happened on our first night) the staff could not have been more professional and kind.

South AfricaBreakfast was very bready and service was a bit odd for breakfast and slow. Our waiter seemed very surly. Pity there was not great coffee as a standard. The flies were just terrible - seems a crazy thing to have a hotel and horses - as the flies were unpleasant.
the pool area was lovely and shaded so you could sit outside most of the day. The room was lovey and big and aircon worked well - bathroom lovely. We had a few light salad lunches and also breakfasts.. Lunch was fresh and lovely. But all in all good

BelgiumThe fact that guests could smoke in the restaurant - this should maybe cater for a more international crowd of guests, especially with families.
Overall, an excellent stay. Great staff, great facilities, great location. A good spot to enjoy the region in a relax way. Very good recommendations coming from the staff to explore the area, such the Ourika valley or the Agafay desert.

MoroccoFood was really good, but there was a major lack of options and novelty. You can end up looking at the same menu for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast is really good though. One thing I noticed and immediately brought it up to the staff, was the presence of a pet dog roaming in the kitchen. We love dogs, and love it when we can interact with them in these type of places, but cats and dogs shouldn't be in a kitchen. Waiter shrugged it off with a "oh no don't worry.. Also didn't like the.rooms much. They're clean, but I hate open concept bathrooms, and have no idea why and how they're becoming a thing. Even the shower is see-through from the sleeping area. Had the photos shown that, I wouldn't have booked just because of that.
Clean Pool, helpful staff,, room views, excellent breakfast. Massage and hammam was superb.

PolandThe description of the room on the booking did not meet our expectations. We booked the one called "Premium Quadruple Room" and there is nothing premium in this room! The room does not have a "balcony with a view" as stated in the description, only a small window and access to the courtyard. It is generally very dark and cold inside of it and the interior resembles hospital rooms. The toilet is large but again far away from Premium status! The service explained it with a Booking.com error ?! Good restaurant but prices well above Moroccan standards, a pony ride for children probably the most expensive in Morocco.
This place offers many activities: tennis, horse riding, heated pool, petanque, ping pong... restaurant, bar... etc. Perfect to rest with kids so they will never be bored there. The room was generally clean, cleaned every day. Breakfast very tasty but...

United KingdomWe had a wonderful room overlooking the pool and a fabulous view towards the Atlas mountains. There was a large shower in the room with plenty of hot water at all times and decent air conditioning. The towels were changed daily. The pool was a great size, very inviting and cleaned every morning. The staff had a wonderful rapport with the guests and were very friendly and helpful. Food choices were interesting and the menu changed daily. It was my birthday whilst we were here and I was surprised with a simply delicious chocolate and raspberry cake...it was extremely thoughtful. This was probably the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. Guests were incredibly quiet in and around the pool and for once we returned home not feeling like we needed a holiday to recover from our holiday!

United KingdomNo wi fi in the bedrooms. At one point the electricity failed a complete blackout in our room. My husband uses a C pap machine and needs electricity during the night to breath. Got an upgrade the next day to a room with no hot water, no wi fi and a French only TV. Turns free breakfast didn't include Tea or Coffee, they charged for that at the end of the stay.
The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was ok. The view was good.

NorwayThis Villa was just beautiful! The breakfast was amazing, the staff and the family owning the Villa was so nice, helpful and service-minded. The food was amazing - I especially recommend the Tajine with lamb our beef, or the chicken wok😍 The crème catalin was the best we’ve ever tasted! The Villa itself is just wonderful! All the green plants, the heated pool, they have a little training-room and we loved the fact that we could ride horses as well🐎 Moan deserves a little extra attention! He was just so nice, so serviceminded and always doing his best to serve us! We just loved Villa Katia - and we’ll be back next time we’re in Marrakesh🥰

United Kingdomthe standard rooms could do with a lick of paint/maintenance. A bedside table & suitcase rack would be nice so the case would not need to be on the floor. However in terms of value fir money it was excellent!
very attractive property with great facilities. Great for singles and families. the staff were all fantastic, super helpful and friendly.
