Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenThe rooms are a bit old and guests are not allowed. The neighbors were a little noisy but that's not the hotels fault.
Very clean and affordable prices , staff were friendly and helpful and pleasant. It's a budget hotel so it's definitely good for the price.

AustraliaBathroom was a bit dirty and the shower didn't work properly. Room looked gorgeous and was a beautiful environment but had a cheap cleaning product smell, they could have used some natural things like orange oil and provided some incense. Overall it was fantastic. Especially the breakfast.
Loved the breakfast! Location was central and easy to navigate. Staff were gorgeous and very helpful.

CanadaThe man at the reception basically convinced me to do a city tour with one of his friends, and it was pretty much a scam. After 24 hours of no sleep I wasn't thinking straight when I arrived at the hotel, and agreed. 800 Dirhams ($100 CAD) for basically a driver to drive for a few hours, and not even speak and give any history about Casablanca. He dropped me off a few places (as a solo female), and parked and waited for me to return. I thought at least he would walk with me, like a walking tour. It was not fun. So SAY NO to any "tours" offered by reception, and do your own research and book with a reputable company. Otherwise about the facility, the shower water went everywhere in the bathroom soaking everything. Also depending on where you are located in the hotel, the roads can be very loud with honking, etc.
The breakfast was great and the basic room was clean. I stayed a few nights before my group tour with Intrepid.

PolandRooms (especially bathrooms) a bit 1980s dated. No tea or coffee in room.
Round the corner from bus terminal and 10' from Casa Port. Made to look like a riad though inside a concrete block. Comfy enough rooms with efficient aircon and balcony. Good breakfast. Plenty of staff. Great value.

Germany• The staff does not understand English very well, so be prepared to learn some French or Arabic! I asked multiple times (in English) if some of the breakfast options (e. g. the pancake looking thing and other baked goods) had milk in them, and they replied "no". Naive as I am, I ate it, trusting them that they knew what I asked about, and was soon facing a bad stomach ache and cramps (I'm lactose intolerant). I went back and asked again if there was milk in it, once again they said no, but when my partner asked in French if anything had butter in it, they said "oui". Make sure you have Google translator with offline dictionaries downloaded on your phone.. • There was a sign on the sink that said something like "Hang up towels if you are reusing them, put them on the floor if you want them exchanged. Please help the environment and try reuse the towel" etc. Since we only stayed there for 3 nights, we decided to hang our towels and reuse them to help reduce our impact on the environment. The cleaning ladies still came every day and took our towels, although we hung them up, and did not replace them. We had to go to the reception or find the cleaning lady ourselves to ask her for towels. • Bathroom facilities need some work. Our shower head and its handle were broken which meant that it would constantly fall down when we were showering and splashed water everywhere - very annoying! One had to hold the shower head while the other one was showering. They did not fix it while we are there but we are hoping they have done so for the next guests! • The hotel advertises that it has a spa & wellness center, but it was closed! Apparently due to renovations.. (December 2023) • Wifi was free but a bit patchy from time to time.
• The Location of the hotel is great, especially if you arrive by coach! The coach stations is literally around the corner, maybe a 5-10 min walk. • The staff was friendly and happy to help when needed. • The Doorman carried our backpacks into the elevator. • Overall they had lots of options at the breakfast buffet (vegan friendly too, but very limited choices unfortunately). Vegan options included: bread, jam, cucumber, tomato, orange juice, choccy-hazelnut spread. It was possible to order omelettes for no extra charge. • Nice room, it was not super big but totally okay for two people. My partner found the bed comfy, I found it a bit too hard but tastes are different! • For what we have gotten, we found it very affordable. • The hotel is very easy to find, as it is close to a big junction and has huge letters on the wall of the building.

FranceCheck-in was a bit weird. I booked a Suite & balcony, but when I went to the room I realized it wasn’t the correct room type. Changed rooms twice to finally get the booked one.
Ideal location close to Casa Port from where you can take the bus to the Mosque or La Corniche. Front desk staff were nice.

GermanyThe room and the whole hotel are a bit old-fashioned and could need some renovation, especially in the bathrooms.

United KingdomI feel like it wasn’t very clean, it looked fine but when you use toilet you could see the dirt there… and the fact that I got rashes after one night of stay, making me wonder whether the bedsheet was hygienic. It looks quite different from the pictures, the whole building was quite dark.
The breakfast was really good, a lot of different bakery to try!!

ThailandI think for this price range, the Hotel Moroccan House was a great choice. No complaints
The room did not look like the listing but after I checked in, I was happy as it was comfortable, quite a good size with nice bed and a very good hot shower. The hotel's location is quite near, walking distance to the medina and other major areas of interest including grocery shopping and good restaurants. The breakfast buffet was large with so many choices including a station for eggs cooked to order. The hotel was also decorated in traditional Moroccan decor.
