The moment we entered the hotel we were welcomed by a lovely and very friendly lady. All the staff at the Riad were very polite and friendly. They always had a smile on their faces. The reception staff were always making sure we were happy with everything. We were very sad to leave our little heaven. We would have liked to stay longer.

Actually, I didn't expect to have such a good hotel (especially after my previous experience in Morocco) and in such a great location. Everything you need in Marrakech can be reached quickly and easily, all the most important attractions are actually close by. But most importantly, the riad provided peace and quiet, which is very important in a city like Marrakech. And the other good thing that cannot be overlooked is that the air quality was good. Unlike the streets of the medina of Marrakech, where there is sometimes nowhere to escape from the smell of gasoline. And then our hotel riad was a real salvation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, everything is easily accessible, and the staff is responsive. Because - I can definitely recommend this hotel to those who want to actually live in the medina, but at the same time enjoy the peace and quiet of the riad's courtyard.

Stunning surroundings. Very helpful staff in every department. Bedroom suite and veranda were a dream. Great location in the heart of the Medina. A real oasis of beauty! Food was great as well.

The first breakfast we had was a bit disappointing but the other ones were good. Wifi connection could be improved. Staffed was super nice but somtimes could be a bit clueless (nothing especially bad)

Great location near the center of Marrakesh. Awesome staff especially Ilyas from the bar. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff catered to our demands without any problems.

It was some maintaince works, but this is also a possitive thing because the place is very nice and should be in a good shape.

It is a little castle inside the Medina. A fantastic place! The breakfast is fabulous.

Some maintenance needs not attended including loose door handle on the door to the room, and cupboards not shutting properly. Also the towels were clean but old and very well used, and the bathrobes too small for the average person - too short and not big enough to wrap around.

Stunning property in a fantastic location. Fifteen minutes walk to the bustling square in Marrakech and also on a quiet street lined with great shops and cafes that all lead through the Medina to the square. The pool is beautiful and all number of alcoholic beverages are available from the bar. Helpful and courteous staff that took care at all my needs.

Palais Donab is one of the best places I have stayed in years. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and went above and above to make us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious. The location is just inside the medina and perfect for accessing all of Marrakesh. The pool was a wonderful break from the mid-day heat. I would absolutely stay here again.

The bar selection was ok but a bit limited.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and there was a constant delightful but not overpowering scent of orange blossom everywhere. The pool was very refreshing and large enough to swim laps. Staff brought out towels and lounge chairs upon request to use the pool. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and both were delicious, especially the lamb tagine. Staff were incredibly thoughtful and bent over backwards to make our stay especially lovely- one day they brought a plate of fresh fruit to the room, another day a bouquet of roses. After dinner we asked if we could take our leftover olives and bread back to our room and they wrapped up a whole plate for us with additional olives and bread. The shower had excellent water pressure and was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent- very close to a taxi drop-off spot, a short walk to Jemaa el Fna and even closer to Jardin Secret and many wonderful shops and restaurants in the souks. I highly recommend staying here and would happily stay here again if/when we return to Marrakech!
