Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MexicoIts inside the medina, and no one told us that this is a dangerous area, our driver asked us not to leave the hotel unless with a guide, as he has had several tourist's stollen or harrassed. I would not recommend staying here because of this reason. Also the restaurant is complicated, there are limited items and they where not very good if you stay here you are limited to have dinner here because of the safety issues. On the dinner i got the chicken tahine and i literally got bones with very little meat. while some others got other parts of the chicken i get they didnt have enough chicken but let us know and dont serve that dish. We booked 3 rooms and one of them has pee on the toilet when they check in, this made us very unconfortable feeling the Cleanliness was sub-par. We tried to book massages, and the times where imposssible to schedule. this was definetly frustrating.
This is a beautifull Riyad, definetly a very pretty hotel and my room was recently renovated and fairly comfortable.

MexicoI had the pleasure of staying at the Riad El Amine Fes during my visit to Morocco, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we stepped into the riad, we were captivated by the serene pool in the main lounge, creating a soothing ambiance that set the tone for our stay. The architectural beauty of Riad El Amine Fes was a feast for the eyes, with a stunning Moroccan-style arch that graced the center of the space. The intricate tiling work throughout the riad was nothing short of magnificent, showcasing the rich craftsmanship that Morocco is renowned for. The fusion of modern furniture with the traditional elements of the riad was masterfully executed, creating a harmonious blend of aesthetics in the multiple spaces. Our room was a true reflection of luxury and comfort, and we couldn't have asked for a more impressive accommodation. The staff, although we encountered a slight communication barrier, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Amine the owner , in particular, played a pivotal role in bridging any gaps, providing valuable assistance with transportation and offering valuable guidance on local restaurants and sightseeing. One delightful aspect of our stay was the cuisine offered at Riad El Amine Fes. Their own food was a delight for the palate, allowing us to savor the authentic flavors of Morocco. The culinary experience added another layer of enjoyment to our visit. In sum, I would not hesitate to return to Riad El Amine Fes on my future visits to Morocco. The combination of breathtaking architecture, attentive staff, and culinary delights made our stay an unforgettable one. This riad is a true gem in the heart of Fes, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional Moroccan experience.

United States of Americawe stayed there 4 nights. We could never get anyone to fix the shower drain after multiple requests. The shower always overflowed and flooded the bathroom and as a result the bathroom always smelled. Nor could we get a coffee maker machine to be delivered to .
The Riad is over the top in terms of the beauty of the facility first floor.. our room was huge. The staff was nice if not efficient. The breakfast and dinners were tasty.

United States of AmericaThey were busy when we checked in on a Friday so they gave us tea and took us to our room without much information. The public areas of the Riad are gorgeous, and we were happy enough having our Junior Suite as a place to rest our head (despite a few issues). However, the little issues became bigger issues when we had emergencies from home and we needed Wi-Fi and needed to spend time in our room more. We were thinking of going back to Marrakech or a larger city, more modern area/hotel. We told Amine and the staff, and our relationship changed immediately. They went out of their way to find us a room that would work for us, we got to know them a bit more. We are so glad we told them instead of deciding to leave. It was the best part of our visit to Fez. We stayed in for dinner one night and we were shown the BEST view in Fez. Do not miss the terrace in this place - this alone is worth staying here. We learned more taking in the view at sunset while the call to prayer started from one mosque to the next than we did walking around the Medina. It was a thoughtful way to observe and be immersed without being overwhelmed ourselves nor intrusive to others. Some of the Riad is a work in progress. We actually loved hearing about the plans and seeing the infrastructure put in place for sustainability. Mostly, we loved the staff being so honest with us. If there was something they could fix, they did. If they couldn’t, they were honest and reasonable. We wanted breakfast and some other meals in our room, and the staff took really good care of us. Truly they took care of us until they put us in our car to leave. We felt so honored to see the work Amine and his family has put into the Riad look forward to returning to this world class experience, amenities and details, and especially to spend time with the staff and Amine.

United States of AmericaThere is nothing to not like about this property!
Riad El Amine was a charming place to stay in Fes. It has a beautiful traditional Moroccan architectural touch that is more beautiful in person. It is right at the edge of the city so easy to reach by car. The staff were caring and friendly, especial thanks to Yaseen for the lovely best Moroccan dinner we had and for being there serving breakfast at the earliest hours of the day.

Room was the hit of my stay , since I had selected the Presidential suite .Regretably , the restaurant did not match the description given on the hotel website , since the offered menu was extremly limited and I had to place special orders for dishes I know in Morrocan cuisine , and those were brought in for outside by a comprehensive staff , and the same applies to choice offered for breakfast -I was also sorry that the hammam was out of order , hence had to take a 15 minutes cab ride to and back from a facility recommended by the staff. Nothing unusual , since most hotels do claim this and/or that , whereas they are not available .

DenmarkWell the spa was under construction and the rooftop was partly closed during our stay. For me that didn't matter, as the city is full of possibilities to experience both.

Beautiful place and kind staff. This Riad was my favorite part of visiting Fes. Beautiful space, wonderful food, such a calming space right in the middle and of the busy Medina. The location was is great and the way the space is built makes it peaceful. I will definitely go back, the staff made our stay so special. They are the best part of the experience. Zakaria was so kind, helping us out with everything (he Speaks Spanish and English perfectly). Isha in the hammam was wonderful (I do recommend going to the hammam with her, you’ll come back a new person). If you want a massage, ask for Donia. She was wonderful.

CanadaThe actual room was a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel-- our doorknob for the bathroom kept falling off, which made using the bathroom kind of difficult. The manager also came up to us twice as soon as we came back from an excursion in the middle of the lobby to ask for CC info and payment, which was off-putting and uncalled for, frankly (very "Anna Delvey"-esque, except we actually paid)-- payment info should have been asked at the beginning during check in or at the end during check out.
The location was good and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast (even though it was way overpriced) and complimentary tea were delicious and a nice touch. They were very flexible with our check out time, which was appreciated as our excursion ran late and put us behind schedule.

This is a beautiful riad near the edge of an old city entrance of Fes. The rooms are beautiful. The location is close to Medina but not necessarily the best place to walk around at night. The staff is good but not especially helpful for ex in booking taxis or giving directions to locations in the Medina.
