The bathroom did not have a door, just a thin curtain. Although the location is good and close by all the main tourist attractions, the neighborhood has a lot of constructions ongoing and quite feel quite shady to arrive, especially during nights

The staff (Fatima, Salma, and Rahma) is the best they made us feel like home and ensured every single detail was perfect. They were always willing to help with a good attitude and a smile! They received us with Morrocan tea and pastry! The room was super clean and smelled delicious. They even stored our luggage for a couple days before our stay while we were in a trip out of Marrakech. This place exceeded our expectations, and thank you Fatima, Salma , and Rahma, for making our stay outstanding !

It would have been useful to have a map of the city.

We were asked every day what time we wanted to have our breakfast. Breakfast slightly changed every day giving us something new everyday, for example : yogurt or fruit salad, and different pastry/sort of pancakes. Really good! Super clean. Nice/friendly/exceptional staff.

The service was perfect, and everyone was polite and friendly. The breakfast was good, well presented, and at the time you wanted for. The room was made up every day and sometimes twice a day. Whenever we used to come back to the Riad, a cup of tea and snacks were waiting for us. 5 stars treatment. I would really recommend it to anyone. Well done for the management and staff. The girls are already missing you.

Authentic and atmospheric Riad in the old town. Best place.to immerse yourself in the Moroccan culture. Only a.short walk to the Medina My hosts. could do enough for me. They made me feel really welcome. Loved the breakfast and the rooftop terrace was amazing. WiFi too ..Take up the option of a transfer first time, as it's a touch difficult to track down...

Everything was great. Took the taxi offered by them and it was great because they drop you in a specific location and then the team from the Riad pick you there and walk to the Riad. Riad was amazing, great place, very quiet, People is the Best, food also great... Everything above expectations...

It could be a little tricky to find but the area seemed safe so a few wrong turns didn't matter.

The room was beautiful with the bonus of the towel art and petals. The shower was excellent and spacious. The staff were lovely and very communicative in advance of our arrival. The breakfast was lovely.

The room was amazing. Bathroom and shower was great and the air con helped with the heat. The Riad is in a good location, with taxis nearby too. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and our room was cleaned everyday without asking. Mohammed and the team at Riad 49 were great, and would highly recommend.

Fatima, Khawla and Rahma moved the atlas mountains to make us feel welcomed. We could not have had better care in a 5 Star hotel. The location was right in the middle of where we wanted to be. If you are visiting for a traditional experience this is where you need to stay

Wifi wasn’t great always. Would have been nice to know to tell taxis to drop us off at the mosque nearby because cars can’t go the whole way back. Not a huge hinderance to our trip though. 10/10 recommend.

There was absolutely nothing that we could find to be improved. We’ve never experienced an accommodation like this. Second to none!

From the moment we arrived in the RIAD we were warmly welcomed by the ladies of the house and felt directly at home. We’ve been lucky enough to travel to many countries worldwide (over 70) but this welcome was beyond words. After coming from the Sahara desert (13 hour drive) we came extremely late (near midnight) and dinner was still made for us and served on the terrace and on arrival we were spoilt with hugs, tea, delicious Moroccan cookies, cold water and warm, friendly and authentic, ladies. Extremely special experience. Magical even! The hospitality industry worldwide can learn a lot from this team. The rooms are gorgeous, there’s so much attention to detail in every way, everything here is done with Love and you see that and experience it through every action and be seen in every way with each member of the team from the decor, to the shower gel and shampoo to the serving of the food. If you’re lucky enough to find this gem, do not hesitate in booking.

My boyfriend and I would have preferred a door to separate the bedroom and bathroom! My fault for not spotting it in the photos but it's just a sheer curtain.

The riad is beautifully decorated, very clean, and the rose petals are a nice touch. Also, being on the outskirts of the medina, it's walking distance from the bus station/train station which was ideal for me. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
