Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaOne night we did the dinner at the Riad, it was not restaurant quality level. However, the morning breakfast is pretty good.
We really like the location, host and breakfast at Riad Ibn Khaldoun. The location is close to the Fez Medina gate so it made very convenient to visit all the sights as well it has great view on the terrace. If we would staying inside the Medina, it might be a bit difficult to travel with the luggages and can be lost as well. We took inside and outside of Medina tours recommended by the host, glad we did that. Fez Medina is really big and can be easily getting lost. The price of tours are also very reasonable. Host also helped us arranging taxi services for picking us from train station and going to chefchaouen and Akchour & God’s Bridge. We found using this private tour and taxi service arrangement gave us more flexibility in spending time on various sites' visits.

United KingdomThis is a wonderful, characterful and welcoming property. Our room was comfortable, huge and in traditional Moroccan riad style with beautiful tiled walls and an intricately painted ceiling. Aziz and Abdul are friendly and helpful and really helped us with information and booking trips. Our trip was made much better by their help. The riad is in an excellent position across the road from coffee shops and cafes (delicious coffee!) and also a taxi rank. We very much enjoyed our week at Riad Ibn Khaldoun

United States of AmericaWe arrived in fez and was quickly greeted with a warm welcome by both Abdollah and Aziz. Although arriving late the two men did not lack any enthusiasm helping us locate parking for our entire stay and hosted us with delicious mint tea. The streets to the road were well lit and very easy to navigate after dark. Aziz and Abdollah gave us a nice tour of the Riad and showed us to our rooms then concluded the night by showing us the panoramic views of Fez from the rooftop. Our rooms were very clean and perfectly sized for the two of us. Although the Riad dates back many years the rooms were very well kept and clean. The entire Riad had gorgeous architecture and provided a very authentic Moroccan charm. We woke up to a beautiful breakfast spread of Moroccan classics, juice, tea, eggs, bread, pancakes etc. It was very impressive and I couldn’t have asked for more. Abdollah and Aziz found out we were on our honey moon and showered us with love. They dressed us in traditional Morroccon outfits and took photos with us. It made for a very memorable and authentic experience. With a five minute walk to the Medina and seconds away from convenience stores and coffee shops the Riad Inn Khaldoun is a perfect choice for staying in Fez.

My mom and I had the best time in this Riad. Abdou and Aziz made us feel very welcome en took good care of us. We even learned some Arabic and thanks to Khadija I now know how to make tea the Moroccon way. The riad was gorgeous, super close to the souks and we loved the terrace. We would recommend everyone staying here. Until we meet again..

United KingdomIt was all good, but the front door is by necessity always locked and guests need to knock or ring the bell. This is all very good but falls apart if the staff aren’t there, and on our last night we kept knocking and ringing for ages until another guest came down and let us in.
Fantastic old original riad in the heart of old Meknes but just outside the confusing medina, so a very good location. Room was OK, quite big and the wifi was good. Staff were very helpful apart from one issue, see the dislikes. Room was very dark with no natural light - not necessarily good but gave us a very good night’s sleep after exploring all day.

Excelente location. Similar to a palace with all the details very careful. Old air with all the elements very careful, the mantenance of the facilities is excellent. Terrace with impressive views of the Medina that has very clean and news sun loungers and armchairs. Spacious and modern rooms, with large Windows for excelente lighting and ventilación. They offer excursiones at a very good price, do not look for another opción, it is best to hire them at the Riad. Very complete breakfast, even if you have to request it ahead of time because your excursion starts early, they offer you a complete breakfast with omelette, eggs, cakes, natural jueces, coffe, etc. They even bring breakfast up to the terrace for you to enjoy in front of wonderful views. Unbeatable personal attention, they even take care of printing your boarding pass at no cost to you. Luxury riad, you can't ask for more. Old air but with all the New facilities, it shows that they care about the maintenance of their premises. I don't understand how they can offer such quality at such cheap prices. You will acces the riad through a wide avenue.

United States of AmericaThey booked a Medina guide for us who was just ok. I feel like we saw a lot, but it kind of felt like we were a burden to the guide. The taxi they booked us to see the sights outside of the Medina was great!
It had lots of character as an old Riad and our room as lovely. The roof top as amazing. Location was good, especially if you have a lot of luggage as its close to the road.
