Our first room on the ground floor had floor-to-ceiling windows, which for privacy had heavy curtains shutting out the morning light. There are other rooms that are quite dark too - all riads have this problem due to their layout. However, they were able to move us to a beautiful well-lit room on a higher floor.

Mohammad himself was reason enough to stay there. He met every need with quiet competence and a smile. The riad itself is beautiful inside, and we were sorry we did not take advantage of having a home-cooked dinner there. Also, we arrived at nearly midnight on a Ryanair flight from Spain. They accommodated our late arrival with a driver meeting us at the airport (waiting 3 hours!) and taking us to the medina gate, where he ensured that a porter met us and took us to them.

Everything was perfect. The building was beautiful, the staff was always nice and ready to help (thanks again). The breakfast was abundant, really tasty and various. Plus we had dinner in the Riad twice (recommend since you won’t find a lot in the medina) and it was super. The room was clean, beautiful and the bed was big and comfortable. I am giving 10 because 11 is not in the list

I stayed at Riad Fes Kettani for the Christmas holidays with my family and it exceeded all expectations. This is by far the best Riad in the medina with the most beautiful and palace-like interior. There is such a warm atmosphere and it feels as if you are being welcomed into a friend’s home. In particular Latifa, Abdul and yusuf were incredibly hospitable and tended to our every need. Latifa’s twin girls Sofia & Inez were so sweet and kept us very entertained with their drawings and even giving us all gifts before we left! We looked forward to the traditional Moroccan breakfast every morning in the beautiful courtyard of the riad and even enjoyed an extraordinary 3 course meal for dinner. The facility are great, including the beautiful rooftop balcony area from which you can see incredible views of the medina. Thank you to all the staff for such a homely welcome and a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!

Staying in Riad Kettani in Fez is one of the highlight of our first trip to Marroco...We cannot speak highly enough of Latifah (Hotel Manager) and her team. Very friendly and helpful, she really does make us feel at home (only in a much more beaitiful house than ours :-)), from the home made meal, "emergency" laundry, help with unreserved late night dinner, ...you name it, Latifah has all the solution for us ! The Riad itself is beautiful, spacious, quite but full of history and character. The direction to the Riad within the. old madina is also plenty. Defenitely recommended

Only challenge was finding the Riad at night, so suggest accepting the riad’s offer to have someone meet you outside the medina on arrival and take you to the Riad.

Riad Fes Kettani was an absolute gem. Fantastic staff (especially Latifa), beautiful and spacious room that felt like staying in a palace, incredible food, great rooftop, and great location. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back when we return to Fes.

The riad is not easy to find but that's not a big issue because the staff will meet you outside the medina and take your bags to the riad - about a 10 mins walk through the old streets. To me that was all part of the experience of staying in the old town, so I wouldn't really categorise it as something I didn't like.

A beautiful riad right inside the medina with comfortable air-conditioned rooms with authentic Moroccan furnishings. It's quiet, the staff are very helpful and obliging, and the food is superb - the best I ate in Morocco. I will definitely stay there again on any future visit to Fes.

Everything was amazing

The staff was so kind and made sure to always set a table for us for both dinner and breakfast. They even packed a small to go breakfast bag when we went to the airport at 4:30am which we were very grateful for. Rooms were quiet and opulent.

Located in the heart of the old Medinah, this beautiful Riad made our stay extremely comfortable and accommodated us like we were relatives coming to visit. They catered to our every need and as there were only a few other guests at the time, it felt really personalised and like we were visiting our extremely wealthy family. Would absolutely recommend to all but please also be conscious that there are many hills and stairs both to reach the Riad and within the building so would be suggest keeping this into account.

The exceptional, traditional architecture of the hotel, the intimate size. The breakfast by the fireplace in the morning, the honestly friendly and helpful staff, the local cooking and dinner exceeded the restaurants who were also good, but not as good as the hotel dinners. The nap on the terrace.

Very hard to find was the way from parking nearby to the Riad. An assistance for the way would be nesseary.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Riad Fes Kettani. Unfortunately, I fell ill on the second day of our trip, but the staff at the Riad were extremely helpful and took my stomach troubles into account when preparing our dinners. Latifa even prepared some rice porridge especially for me. I can't thank her enough for that. The Riad is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were the nicest, most helpful people I have ever encountered in a hotel. I highly recommend Riad Fes Kettani!

- they have arranged for us a transport to the airport, at the appointed time nobody was there...luckily one of the staff could contact the driver, he said "5 minutes"...and FINALLY showed up 20 minutes too late, that caused a stressful departure and helter-skelter at the airport. very annoying, unprofessional and dubious, they should definitely change the driver. - atmosphere in the house little sterile and reserved, not much sincere joy in the communication with the guests - coffee could be better

The location is very good, away from the main hustle and bustle of the Medina, but close enough so you can be in the centre in 5 minutes. All the staff was very helpful, special thanks to Latifa and Abdul for looking after us like their own family :) Breakfast was really good, and so was the mint tea (we had lots of it). Latifa and Abdul helped us organise the transport to/from the hotel, and gave good advice on what to do in the city
