Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaEverything about our stay exceed my expectations. The staff went above and beyond for us and helped us organize all our excursions and recommended amazing places to eat and see. The Riad is also so beautiful and in a great location too! My highlights from here was the Mint Tea!

United States of AmericaAmazing staff and location. They served the best mint tea we had in all of Morocco. Our room was spacious and clean, and we loved the terraces. The staff went above and beyond to help us set up spa services, give directions and recommendations, and even help contact our tour operator after we checked out.

This Riad felt like a home away from home. Perfect location within the medina that was easy to find and close to all the main attractions. The design was perfection and I loved sitting in the courtyard to have the delicious breakfast each morning. My room was spacious and had everything I needed. Shoutout to all the wonderful staff who were so kind and hospitable - they really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and help with any questions I had.

United KingdomNothing negative at all.
Mustafa and the team could not have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Wi-Fi was fine if you have teenagers 😁and the breakfast was lovely, with a selection of bread and different fruit each day. The meal on arrival was excellent, and leaving our bags safe in the Riad on the last day until our evening flight was no bother.

Riad Mur Akush is in a really good location, just a short walk to everything you want to do and see within the Medina. It is located on a quiet street and near to lots of local little places for reasonable meals. The provided daily breakfast is fantastic. The staff is so very helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in the room called Yasmine. Very comfy and nice size too. Bathroom was wonderful.we highly recommend Riad Mur Akush. Wonderful stay!

United KingdomWe were not unhappy with anything, if I were to change one thing it would be the breakfast. Not because it was not good, but a traditional breakfast comes with a variety of breads which I am not really into.
The family owned riad is traditional with many original features. The roof top has magnificent views to the Atlas mountains. The location was fantastic, next to a local souk used by locals. It was a 15-minute walk to the souks of Marrakesh. The Kasbah was 25 minutes’ walk where you can visit Saadian tombs and Bahia Palace. On the way you can walk through the garden of Koutoubia Mosque. Jardin Marbella was 15 minutes’ walk away. From the car park at the back of Koutoubia Mosque you can meet the free shuttle to the Anima Gardens which is around 45 minutes away. The House of Photography and the Secret Garden can be found in the souks both within a 30 minutes walk, assuming you do not get lost! Lastly, 2 minutes away is Les Bains d` Azahara, a traditional Hammam, spa.

Our room was huge and the decks and patios were lovely. The location was great and within easy walking distance to sites. The mosque and gate (bab) are great landmarks to find your way home. The staff went above and beyond. We had a water heater issue and they resolved it immediately. Breakfast was good every morning,

SwedenPersonally I would have liked a variation of pillows, now I had many but of the same size. On the other hand I never asked, so don't know if any other sizes were available. The breakfast was very focused on carbs and sugar, and I cannot really eat too much sugar. When asking I got a small omelette in addition, but to thoroughly make it healthier seemed a bit hard. But all these things are just minor details.
Location is great, it is an easy walk in to the center of the medina, to museum Dar el Bacha, to the Secret Garden etc. You can also walk to the Majorelle Garden and Madrasa Ben Yussuf. There is always staff around and the hotel feels safe. The airport transfer arranged by the hotel is quick and on time. Room is warm thanks to the AC, and the terrace on top of the house is great for breakfast at sunrise or just hanging around. Friendly staff.

MexicoAmazing stay. The location was very, very good; close to everything, yet still very quiet. The best part of the stay was the attention and care of all the staff, they ensured we had a delicious and very filling breakfast at whatever time we wanted. Special shout out to Mustapha Ali who always made sure everything was as needed and even treated us to some delicious tea and cookies while we were waiting for our flight to leave (even after checking out hours before!).

This hotel was in the best location in the old city. Amazing coffee hang out just to the left a few steps away. The staff. The only thing I can say is that they were absolutely incredible! I have never been in a hotel with such amazing staff in my entire life. They were so accommodating, had the best personalities, were very caring, and always had a smile on their face. From the front desk to the home-made breakfast to the cleaning crew, the experience was amazing. The room was incredible. Two separate sections, a huge washroom, and almost felt like your own little Villa. It came with a rooftop patio and was close to literally everything. Walking distance to downtown in the new city and all the beauty in The Old City. If I could give this hotel an 11 out of 10 I would!!!

This riad was very comfortable. The units were roomy, especially the bathroom, which had a very interesting layout. The breakfasts were fresh each morning. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily. Most of all, the manager of the riad, Mustapha, was super helpful in suggesting parking and restaurants as well as phoning contacts in different cities to provide tour guides.

SingaporeBeautiful and clean rooms. Absolutely loved the vibe of the place and managed to catch the beautiful sunset at the terrace. But the staff was the highlight for me. I enjoyed their company greatly. They were the friendliest and made sure to attend to my needs no matter the time. Out of all the accommodations I booked in Morocco, this was my favourite! One example of their hospitality is that breakfast is usually served at 8am (correct me if I am wrong) but when I informed them that I had to leave by 7am for my desert trip, they made arrangements to still prepare breakfast to ensure that we had food in our tummies before we left. This little sacrifice was, to me, an act of kindness that was not required of them and for that, my friends and I are so thankful. Thank you for the wonderful memories, Riad Mur Akush!

The Mustapha's (there are two) were fabulous hosts, and made us feel at home and nothing was a problem. The rooms were very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. We were there in July, which was extremely hot, so the air-conditioning was a god send. The location worked perfectly with easy walking to pretty much everything, while still being beautifully quite.
