Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe hotel could do a better job in telling travelers where to tell the taxi or other drivers to drop them off. OInly alleyways lead to the hotel (a very charming feature), but difficult to find.
The ambience. The atrium is gorgeous! The staff is excellent. Locatio n, location, location.

Excellent Riad. The original features have been maintained well. The staff are brilliant. All local excursions organised with them with good deals and we liked the recommendations. Location is also very central.

United StatesTruly there was nothing we didn't like besides the fact the pool was cold but thats also because we went in march.
The staff was wonderful and very attentive. They got us all the taxis and information we needed. They had wonderful cat workers as well who were there when you wanted something to pet (He likes tips). The restaurant food and drinks were phenomenal and their happy hour slaps. The views of the courtyard and the flowers were to die for. It is a very quiet and safe area. Breakfast was good and changed from day to day. The cleaning ladies cleaned so well and would even fold our clothes for us.

CyprusUnable to have an early breakfast. It is served 0730-1030 but we had to leave at 0700 for a desert trip, we asked for some eggs but were told it wasn’t possible…real shame as their shakshuka is amazing. So we got some pieces of fruit and some cake instead.
Simply beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. If you want to eat méchoui, you need to order it the day in advance. We loved our stay and would love to come back again, hoping to get a special offer from the hotel……

IrelandAbsolutely nothing!
The staff could not have been more accommodating during our 4 night stay. Moroccan tea on arrival, lovely breakfast every morning with freshly squeezed orange juice, rooms tidied every day. We ate dinner here once during our stay and it was one of the best ones we had in Marrakech. Every member of staff was so helpful and we literally could not tip them enough for every thing they did for us. Location is perfect, close enough to main square and shops but hidden down a quiet alleyway. Gorgeous rooftop for sunbathing (which has another pool) and the intricate design of the ceilings are just amazing. Mini fridge in the room (restocked every day) was also a bonus!

United Kingdomnothing, everything was perfect! the hotel is hidden down a little back street so you only have to go around the corner to get a taxi if needed.
the hotel was absolutely stunning! i knew from the pics it would be lovely but in person, it just blew us away! so many gorgeous rooms and the outside space was just incredible. 2x pools as well (although you only use the rooftop one) which is perfect after a day of walking around. the hotel is hidden away so an ideal little oasis perfection amongst the busy streets of marrakesh.

RomaniaShower was leaking but it was manageable in the end. You need to do some research first about the medina and the streets to be prepared about the area, but once you enter the riad, a whole different world reveals :)
Lovely location, with lovely architecture and a beautiful interior garden, it really feels like the 1001 nights stories :) The plants and the pool make the location even more beautiful. The rooftop is also amazing. I really loved everything about it!

Stunning architecture and authentic decorative finishes. Countless areas of interest and beauty within the Riad. All the staff were welcoming and very friendly, always happy to provide an impeccable service. The rooms were tasteful and comfortable. The roof terraces were simply lovely with the benefit of watching the sunsets. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice and exceptional fresh orange juice. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times too and can highly recommend, especially the dishes that require advance preparation. The location was perfect for discovering the sights of Marrakech. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would happily return in an instant.

I loved everything. The riad is magical, and it's the most beautiful place we've seen in Marrakech. Every corner is a piece of art. At night, with all the lights, this place turns to a piece of heaven. All the staff was amazing, polite, friendly, professional and welcoming, we absolutely loved everyone. The breakfast was tasty and homemade. Our last day, we had troubles sleeping due to noises from the room next to us and baby crying. The next day, Mohamed from the reception was exceptional and helpful and changed the room for us. If we go back to Marrakech, that is the place where we would stay again. It's also close to all the attractions in Marrakech and we walked most of the time. Can't express how much we loved this riad and our stay there.

Absolutely outstanding! My wife and I stayed at Palais Sebban for a week and were completely taken aback not only by the sheer beauty (well documented in the reviews) of the Riad itself but also the friendliness and kindness of every staff member working here. We’ve travelled around the world and have never experienced the kind of hospitality shown to us by Palais Sebban. From the first minute you enter the Riad, you know that you are somewhere special.

RomaniaThe riad has no carpets on the floor and it would need some flip-flops because otherwise it gets cold. The breakfast needs a little bit more variety, especially when it comes to eggs and cold cuts... but the food was delicious.
This place is amazing! I loved everything about our stay here: the staff is great, the food is nice, the riad itself is amazing not to mention the location. Our room was spacious, it had a super comfy bed, the cleaning was spotless and the cosmetics in the bathroom were super good. (I bought some when I left). When I am back in Marrakech I will stay again here!

NetherlandsThe bathroom and shower need an improvement. It’s really annoying to regulate the cold and hot water in the shower. If another room opens the water the shower gets cold or extremely hot. The bed mattress was not comfortable and the room had a bit of smell of a closed/humid place.
The Riad’s architecture is just stunning! The different patios and the terrace are so beautiful that you will find yourself seating there and admiring the place while having a tea. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is also great as it’s just at the border of the Medina which makes it easier to access the Medina and also to get a taxi outside the Medina.
