    We liked everything

Centrally located. Extremely helpful staff always at hand to help. Special thanks to Karim, Miriam and Ayoub. Incredible how Riad was so peaceful and quiet and you walked out of ita doors and there was a cacophony of noise, movement and colour that so well defines Marrakesh. The Riad was very clean and I was impressed how guests were welcomed and the fact that they weren't in any hurry to rush you out on your check-out day. We were very impressed.

Not sure. Found most required items reasonably OK.

Nice Moroccan style breakfast ready for the time requested. They have a jacuzzi that looked really nice but I did not use it: too cold at that time of the year. Very good location close to most important attractions. Terrace with nice neighborhood views and chaiselongs for relaxation and sunbath if desired. Rooms clean, large with nice local decor.

Mix up with transfer from the airport (had wrong guest name) which costed us about 20mins on arrival. But all good.

Great location as you were quite close to the main square but far enough to avoid its chaos. Felt super quiet inside and peaceful. Staff was very nice and did not try to push you to do any activity. Breakfast was good, if a tad repetitive. Riad overall is beautiful.

The room was described as a suite I'm not sure why as it was very uncomfortable and not somewhere where you would want to stay long. There was only a half wall between the bedroom and the toilet and the bathroom area was very basic with a toilet that rocked when you sat on it. There were no side tables beside the bed and the bed itself was incredibly hard. There was no view to the outside just to a covered courtyard. In the courtyard was a jacuzzi which could only be used if you paid an extra fee of £25 per session! The stairs were very steep and each time we wanted to get back into the property we had to knock at the door. We cut our stay short transferring to a more suitable hotel which was only a little more expensive. We were charged our full stay by the Riad Dar Sheba thus losing about £300.

Very central location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

    Nothing

Can't say enough good things about this charming Riad and its wonderful staff! First, is the location on a small quiet side street but literally only steps away from a regular street with taxi access (which means you won't get lost carrying your bags through the labyrinthine Medina. The building itself has been tastefully decorated with Moroccan crafts in a blue & white color scheme. There are only six pretty, very clean and comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms. The continental breakfast (included) was very abundant with fresh orange juice, fruit, good coffee and tea, breads and various Moroccan pancakes. I arranged to have my dinners at the Riad, and Meriam's home cooking was outstanding. You get large portions of traditional Moroccan dishes, well prepared and seasoned using quality ingredients. Tell her what you want and she will prepare it for you. All the staff was very attentive and helpful and, as a single traveler for a week, made me feel right at home. Exceptional value and a lovely experience. Highly recommended.

This is a two star accomodation with no pretensions towards luxury, which is reflected in the price. Our room was a little smaller than I was expecting from the images. There was nowhere to unpack fully, so clothes and other belongings stayed in the suitcases for our four nights stay. The bathroom area was a disappointment and the monogramed hand towels were hard and flat with holes - I pulled out a long fair hair that was matted into one! The bath towel was fine but we had to ask for a second one, which was promptly provided. There were cushions on the bed when we arrived, but we preferred the pillows that were in the wardrobe so, the first night we slept on pillows without pillowcases but this was rectified on the second night without us asking. We were provide a dish of fruits with our breakfast for the first two mornings but no fruits on the third morning or our final morning; even though we asked for some. Fruits are incredibly cheap in Marrakech, so it was a bit surprising! Our airport transfer on departure from the riad was a little delayed but it was a short journey and we arrived at the airport in good time.

All the staff are lovely; Miriam - cook, housekeeper, is amazing. I was particularly impressed with the young man who worked the night shift, he could not have been more accommodating. The location is good; Marrakech is quite an easy city to navigate - particularly with Google map. The riad is in a quiet side street, in a central location but away from the serious hustle and bustle. As a middle-aged person I found Marrakech to be perfectly safe - if you are not a naive traveller, and the riad seems secure. The public areas in the Riad Dar Sheba are well maintained and look nice. We had booked airport transfer and on arrival it worked a dream.

We spent 3 nights at the Riad and enjoyed it very much. The place is lovely and so is the staff. We looked forward to the excellent breakfast everyday. The Riad is small with only 5 rooms and very tastefully done. It would be a great place to be staying there with friends. The rooms were very nice with a/c and comfortable beds. It worked well for 3 people. It has a nice small pool/jacuzzi to cool off in the heat. The roof top was also very nice. Location was close to the square and the souks. We would definitely stay there again.

Only minor negative was no laundry on site, but there is somewhere a few minutes down the road.

Great location steps from a road with cars (no carrying your bags through the media and no dingy dangerous alleyway, but still quiet while being a few minutes walk from the main square). The staff were lovely, breakfast was great. Our room on the top floor was positively luxurious. Beautiful small pool to cool off in when the marrakech temperatures get too much. We loved the place!

Communication was difficult with staff at times and when we asked them to book a taxi to the airport, staff quoted tourist price of £13 instead of a more reasonable taxi price of around £6, which is what we ended up paying having found a taxi ourselves.

The fact that they want you to pay the riad stay in local money at their conversion rate.. so i recomand you to pay from you home via booking by card of pay at the riad in euro be sure to include 4.2 euro/day city tax. I tell them twice that i have some problem with 4 of the 7 electical soket without any result.. wasn't a big problem i use rest of 3 :) I little expensive for their service but if you put your money on safty in the first place than it a normal/good price.

It's a quite place, easy to find, in a safty aria. Wi fi works good even if you have 1 line signal. They have a good heater in the room if you are going to stay in a could whether (ex. Nov. in our case) no car noise, no mosche noise. The breakfast is kind of italian brekfast.. basic breakfast. Clean and good bed with two tipe of pillow (strong/soft) an extra cover if necesay.

Two things should be improved : 1. There were quite some bees around us while having breakfast in the open courtyard. No need to drag your luggage: A taxi will halt only the few steps from the Riad entrance. Within the Riad you feel totally safe and secure; no sounds from outside will disturb you, you have a magnificent view from the roof top garden and there are plenty of places within the Riad to relax and enjoy the sun. Our room was wonderful, beautifully decorated and clean. Best of all with Riad Sherba; reception manager Mohamed, and Fatima, who both with their kindness and efficiency provide you with everything you may want from a perfect breakfast to table reservations and knowledge on how to manage a day in the souks. We were unhappy with the shower in the Rabat room, and they allowed us to swap rooms to one with a nicer shower. One cold shower, despite there being hot water downstairs

Very beautifully decorated Roof terrace Not at full capacity

During our stay a couple of the guests came back at 4 am and decided to talk and laugh loudly for another hour in the common area, which made sleeping difficult.

The location is good, just 10-15 mins to the center of the old town and the souks. The riad is clean, quiet and peaceful. Personnel is welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a small, warm, nice riad which is close to the center.

Because it was such a great place and had a boutique feel to it the breakfasts were nice but feel there could have been more. There was no fruit or eggs, only bread and yoghurt. But this did not take away the pleasure from our stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. It feels like a large Riad for only 6 rooms or so, very nice decor and large comfortable rooms. Location was great, 5min walk to the square.

It was not the fault of the riad AT ALL but there was an early departure at 5am,the woman was walking up and down her room and then the stairs, making a trerible racket, showing no consideration for others Sound really travels in all of the riads, I have stayed in many and this is an issue in all of them. I told the owner and she was very concerned and said she would put up signs to remind people to be quiet.

I loved the brightness of the place and genuine, warm welcome from Mohamed, who had already called me to see if I needed any help getting there. I met the owner and another member of staff and they, too were very warm and friendly, I stayed in the room on the terrace, it was really fresh and bright with lots of dayliight, Riads can be quite dark and dismal and one can feel too close to the other guests but this one is different. I didn't try the breakfast and did not have time to use the Jacuzzi but it looked very inviting. I shall definitely go back!

While the staff are really so lovely, we did have some issues with communication. The girl who checked us in did not know answers to what we thought were pretty standard questions, and the guy who is there in the evenings/mornings (so sweet!) cannot speak English very well.

Great location, only about 5 or so mins walk from the main square; staff very friendly & attentive; decor is beautiful and really creates a place of calm in this bustling city.

I can't say enough nice things about this beautiful riad. Everything was perfect from the start of our visit to the end. Despite its proximity to Jemma Al fyna (5 minutes walk) as soon as you step through the doors you are greeted by a beautiful, calm and tranquil courtyard. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly and will go far beyond their call of duty to help. We stayed there for four nights at the beginning of our trip to Morocco and look forward to spending our final few nights there too. Truly fantastic accommodation!

Pierre and Sophie, the owners, were warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very start. A real oasis of peace and tranquillity from the hustle and buslte of the Medina, lovely decor throughout, super-comfortable beds, and an atmosphere of cosiness and comfort - a home away from home!
